Hiccup and Toothless went near the edge of the river. They crossed over, via the same path of rocks for Hiccup and via a short-lived flight for Toothless.
Rapunzel was the first to come in and try to pet Toothless. He resisted, however. "It's okay. They're friends," Hiccup said. Toothless then lowered his head so Rapunzel can pet him.
"Hi there, Toothless~" she giggled.
"This is amazing, Hic," Merida said in wonder, "Ya made friends with a dragon,"
"First one to ever do this," Hiccup laughed nervously, "My dad is gonna kill me," he said in a frightened tone.
Toothless reached for the some of the uncooked fish Merida caught a while ago. He was enjoying himself too much that he didn't realize Hiccup attaching a tail fin to Toothless. The tail fin was attached to a saddle placed on Toothless' back.
"... Are you going to ride this dragon?" Jack said as he watched Hiccup work. Toothless' ear-like flaps propped up when Jack said so. Thus, he looked back at Hiccup. Hiccup raised his hands, keeping his distance from Toothless.
Toothless walked closer to his tail, but of course, it distanced itself. Toothless was now walking in circles trying to see his new tail. Everyone was laughing. Dragons were always portrayed as vicious and deadly creatures, but now... they see that they are actually intelligent and curious creatures.
"Do you like it, Toothless?" Hiccup asked.
Toothless stopped walking and turned to Hiccup. He nodded slightly. "That's great to know," Hiccup sighed in relief.
The sun was about to set. They knew they had to leave now. It was fun while it lasted, though. They were all grateful they met each other.
"Time to go now, Punzie," Jack said, holding his hand out to the blonde.
"Oh right... the lanterns," she mumbled in response.
"I hafta leave now as well. Mother might look for me," Merida said, stretching her arms, "Thanks for the bow and arrow, Hic," she added.
"Uh... no prob, Bob," Hiccup said in response. He checked Toothless' prosthetic tail, the saddle on his back and the mechanism that attaches the tail and the saddle, "I, too, have to go. My dad might send a search party for me or something,"
"Guess this is goodbye. I hope to see you guys again," Rapunzel stated in a sad smile. She wanted to spend a little more time with her new... friends. Never, in her life, did she think she could ever have some other than Pascal.
"Let's check that map Hiccup has," Jack took out the map from Hiccup's basket. Rapunzel was able to locate her tower and was able to identify from which direction the lights would appear. With that information, they concluded that the floating lights were from Corona, a kingdom not too far from there.
"Well, we're leaving now. Bye again!" Jack said as he ran off with Rapunzel. The two of them carried some of her hair all the way to Corona.

Everyone was busy today in Corona. Many people were celebrating the festival that was happening that day. Jack thought that he couldn't carry Rapunzel's hair around with this much people walking around.
It would be very strange to see a bunch of floating hair now, wouldn't it?
So Jack took a look around as soon as they stepped into the kingdom. He spotted four young girls braiding each other's hair. Rapunzel called out to them and gestured to her extremely long hair. The girls seemed overjoyed with the sight and they happily braided it for Rapunzel. Jack watched them work from nearby.
