I had one problem, though:
Were there even any diners that served breakfast around here? I hadn't really bothered to check before, although I've lived here for three years.

Anyway, what else can I do but wander around and look? First, though, I kinda had to change; I wasn't about to go out in just a pair of sweatpants. But what if I did, though, I thought, giggling. Argh, my mind wanders too much. Yeah, that's a problem I
had - Not being able to do something without getting side-tracked at least once. Surprisingly, it didn't really happen when I was writing songs...

"Okay," I told myself aloud; good thing I live alone, "I'm gonna get dressed an' go to breakfast. Then... Well, I dunno, but I'm gonna find somethin' to do." I had to do that a bunch lately. Tell myself things aloud, I mean. Is there something wrong with me, or...

Breakfast! Right, I needed to go to breakfast. But first, clothes. Going into my room, I figured a pair of jeans and a black button-up would be presentable, right? And wow, I pretty much only have button-up shirts... I smacked my forehead. Stop! Getting! Distracted! It was getting worse lately.

I grabbed my wallet and keys before I could forget them and headed out on my mission to find a breakfast place. There could be millions of them here, in Sheffield, but I just might not have noticed. As I walked along the pavement, I kinda just looked around for anything. Finally, a little diner on the corner of a street caught my eye. It looked like a 60's diner, which really got me interested. I had always had a liking for the 50's and 60's, though I don't know why.

The sign on the front of the diner read "Sheffield City Diner- now serving breakfast." Perfect!

((A/N: Something interesting's happening in the next chapter, don't worry ;)))
