I didn't remember ever waking up and getting in bed; Alex must've carried me and I was asleep. He's too nice for his own good, he'll do anything to make someone happy. And I liked that.

I'd been awake for hours, just lying there, thinking. And I came to terms with something. Something that I hope wouldn't seem weird.

I fancied Alex. Everything about him.

It sounds silly, but I really hoped he wasn't straight. I kind of hinted to him that I didn't really like girls, or that I thought a guy was cute, but I never really told him I was gay. I never really told anyone, I realized. I needed to get around to that.

I figured that laying in bed all day wouldn't be such a good idea, since I heard a snore coming from the living room. Alex must've stayed the night. I got out of bed and changed, seeing as I was still in my clothes from yesterday. By the time I went down to get something to eat, Alex had woken up and was on his phone. He didn't seem to hear or notice me walk past the couch, so I planned a little trick on him.

I crept back behind the sofa and popped out behind him. I yelled, "WHATCHA DOIN'?" I had never seen someone jump so high until that morning. Alex yelped and accidentally threw his phone across the room. He ran over to see if it cracked. Luckily, it was still intact. "Miles, ya knob head, this coulda broke!" He said, trying to seem serious, but failing as a smile tugged at his mouth. I laughed. "D'ya want somethin' to eat?" I asked. He nodded. "I'm starved," he groaned.

"Waffles or toast?" I asked after going through the pantry to see what I had. "Waffles, obviously," Alex called from the living room.

"So," I said, sitting on the sofa next to him, "What'll be on the agenda for today?" Alex laughed. "Well, Mr. Kane, I have an idea." "And that is...?"

  "The Last Shadow Puppets 2."

"Ya wanna make TLSP2?" I asked excitedly. Alex nodded. "That's great, mate! I already have some ideas," I rambled. "Calm down, mate, waffles first!" Alex joked. I nodded.

I don't know why I said this, but I did: "Al, can I tell ya somethin'?" I asked. "Yeah, anything." Well, no goin' back now, I thought. "Well, I, uh, kinda hinted at it, and, uh-" "Miles, I know you like guys," Alex said, giggling. "Oh. That was easier than I thought," I laughed. "Well, since we seem to be havin' a moment, I'm bisexual," Al told me. I nodded. "Now we can talk about boys together!" I joked.

We ate the rest of our breakfast - well, more like lunch, now, it was almost 12:00 - in silence. It was a comfortable silence, though, ad I'm pretty sure we were both thinking of ideas for The Last Shadow Puppets.
