On Saturday, Alex and I decided to take the weekend to ourselves. Really, it had been 11:57 on Friday night when we were both half asleep and very sick of writing for weeks on end when we decided.

I stayed in bed until 1:00 on Saturday, mostly just watching whatever reality show was on TV. I was strangely interested in those. I was also thinking way more than I should have. My mind wouldn't stop racing, mostly about Alex. It sounded like a cliche love story, but I couldn't help but think about him. And the fact that I called him "Love". Yikes.

I finally decided to get something to eat, just to find out that Alex and I must've eaten literally all the food I owned. Well, I told myself, I've been craving Chinese takeout anyway...

I called and order what I wanted, which was a lot for one person. But hey, you couldn't blame me, I'd been writing nonstop for a week and a half, I needed a reward. Alex and I were really serious about this album. We already had 7 songs written, and we were aiming to have about 10-12. The first one we wrote, which we called "Aviation", had taken about a day.

I was thinking about something when the doorbell rang. It scared me, and I kinda yelled. Hopefully the delivery person didn't hear that. She didn't say anything if she did, so I couldn't really tell. But god, did this food smell good...

While eating, I kinda just stared out the window and thought about stuff. If anyone saw me, they'd think I went mad. I had the tendency to not blink when I was lost in thought. Again, the thought of Alex slipped into mind. Dammit, why couldn't I stop? Also, when did I eat the last egg roll? I wanted to savor those...

Throughout the day, I watched a bunch of old 80s movies and drank a hell of a lot of Coke. That probably wasn't healthy.

On Sunday, though, I was woken up around 8:30 by my phone ringing. It was Matt; hadn't talked to him in a while. "Ello, mate?" I answered. "Hey, Miles. Uh, we got an emergency," Matt said quickly. I tensed. "What is it? Who is it?" "It's Al. I found him in his kitchen passed out. Dunno what happened, but we're at the hospital, and I figured I'd call ya," he explained. I cursed. "Okay, I'll be there in a few." I said quietly hung up.

I got dressed quickly and grabbed my keys. What did Alex manage to do within a day? I really hoped he wasn't sick, or didn't have some kind of drugs. But Al wasn't the kind of person to do drugs... I shook the thought from my head. No, it wasn't drugs, stupid, stop thinking like that! I told myself.

I'm pretty sure I was going way over the speed limit, but no one stopped me, so I didn't really worry about that. I was just worried about Alex.

((Ooh, dramatic plot twist! Also, wow, I'm posting the next chapter in a bit, 2 chapters in a day? Lucky you~))
