My eyes opened slowly. I saw what appeared to be somebodies living room. I lifted my head to look around. I was alone... Where was Sophia? Where were the people I saw?

"Logan." Carol said from behind me.

"Sophia... Where is she?" I ask.

Carol looked at me with sadness in her eyes.

"Tell me!" I demand.

"Hershal is tending to her. For now we need to give Sophia some space," Carol said, wiping tears from her face.

"Hershal?"

"He owns the farm. He has two daughters, Maggie is the eldest and Beth is the youngest. There is also Patricia, Jimmy and Otis." Carol stated.

I took off the blanket that covered me and looked at Carol sadly.

"Why was it necessary?" Carol asked.

"What?" I said.

"Why did you have to shoot Sophia?" Carol reworded.

"A walker would have bit her. I had no choice." I stated.

Carol nodded and put her hand over her mouth. I could tell she had a hard time picturing poor Sophia being shot.

"So, where is the rest of the group?" I ask.

"They are outside. But what about that girl, Elise, and Jordan and Ben?"

I had just realised: I had left them at the wreck. They could be dead!

"I have to go." I said.

"No! You need rest, and food, and drink." Carol argued.

But I ignored her and rushed myself out the door. I heard the man Hershal telling the group something but I continued to walk.

"Logan, your awake!" Lori said.

"Where do you think your going?" Rick asked.

"I need to find Elise and Jordan and Leo!" I said.

I took a pistol off the picnic table that was beside me and walked through the long field and into the forest. I shot each walker that stood in my path. The gunfire only attracted more, but maybe Elise could hear it. Once walkers were behind me I ran to the road.

"Elise! Elise!" I shouted, "Jordan! Leo!"

Three figures emerged out if the shadowy forest on the other side if the forest.

"Logan!" Elise cried.

She ran into my arms and I hugged her as tight as I could while keeping her comfortable.

"We thought you were dead!" Jordan exclaimed.

"Well I'm not." I said, laughing.

"Where were you all that time?" Leo asked.

"A farm. The group is there, and-"

"The group?" Leo interrupted.

"The group Sophia is part of... Just through the forest!" I said, beginning to cry with happiness.

"Let's go!" Jordan said.

We ran through the forest and found ourselves at the farm. The group welcomed us back, though Shane did not look too happy. And there were a lot of missing people.

"Andrea, what happened to Amy?" I asked.

"I... Shot her." She gulped.

"Oh, god! I'm so sorry!" I said, hugging her to show that I cared.

"Yeah, yeah! It's so sad!" Merle chuckled.

"Merle, shut the hell up!" Daryl hissed.

I looked at the remaining members of the group: Rick, Lori, Carl, Shane, Carol, Andrea, Dale, Daryl, Merle, Elise, Jordan and Leo. And then there was Hershal, Patricia, Beth, Maggie, Jimmy and Otis. We were quite the group.

"I'm going to go to Sophia." I said.

Elise followed me to the room which Sophia lay on a bed. She looked so peaceful. She had a bullet-hole in her shoulder and she yet slept. Elise looked so beautiful on the other side of the bed.

"You know... I love you." I said to Elise.

"You do? Still? I remember you saying that when we were kids but I thought you were just joking." Elise said.

"Well I wasn't joking. I love you. I always have and always will. No girl compares to you." I looked into her eyes as I said that.

"You mean it?"

"Always have." I replied.

Leaning over Sophia, Elise and I kissed. This was no kiss and pull away quickly... This kiss lasted a minute. This kiss meant something.
