Harry POV
it was the day of the special dinner. i was dressed in a suit and i sat on the couch waiting for Cass to come out in her dress.
"Our girls are going to look beautiful," Niall stated as he sat down on the couch next to me.
"yes they are," i agreed smiling.
five minutes later, the girls walked out in their dresses. Cass wore a blue dress that was short in the front and long on the back. the jewels rested perfectly around her ribcage and her shoulders were bare. she stood in the silver heels that i had bought her and her hair was curled with half of it up and all of it pulled to the side over her right shoulder. she wore more make up than usual, but it was still very subtle and still showed off her natural features.
i walked towards her and placed my hands on her hips, "you look stunning, my love." i tolder her. she smiled and i kissed her passionately. "are you ready?"
"yes," she said. i could sense that she was a little nervous. she has never done anything fancy like this before. or at least thats what she told me.
"dont worry, Sweetheart. you will be fine. just stay by my side." i kissed her nose. i looked down at her wrist; the one that she had sliced with Zayn's knife. we had lied to Zayn and Cass told him she moved when she was looking for something and forgot to put it back where she found it. her cut had healed enough in the passed three days that it was able to be covered up with some make up, but it was still big enough to show through faintly. i was caught staring and she covered her scar with her hand.
Paul showed up to escort us through the fans. i heard them shouting things at Cassandra. i looked over at her to see her reaction and to make sure she didnt do anything too extreme about it. she just kept her eyes straight ahead. i saw her tense up a few times at certain comments. she clenched her hand into a fist. i trailed my fingers down her arm to her clenched fist and, fortunately, my plan had worked. her fist opened and i swiftly intertwined her hand with mine. i squeezed her hand to reassure her that what they were saying ws a lie and that they were just jealous.
before we were ableto get into the van, i saw a fan grab Janie by her arm and pull her into the crowd. i knew that Cass had seen too. Oh no. here we go.
I tried to keep Cass at my side but she broke free and went to her best friends rescue.she got there just in time too. a fan was about to hit Janie to the ground when Cass pulled her out. "hey back off! you can talk shit about me and hit me all you want but if you do so much as bump my best friend when you are walking by her, i will be sure to beat the living shit out of you." Cass shouted.
"best friend? more like only friend." the fan snickered.
"so what? shes the only friend i need. i dont need a bunch of people and random things to know that im loved." and with that, the girls made their way back to the van and got in.
when we were all settled in, Janie said, "thanks for that, Cass."
"youre welcome, babe. are you alright?"
"yeah i'll be fine." she said then rested her head on Cass' shoulder while Niall held her hand.

At the restraunt, i introduced Cass and Janie to Eleanor, Perrie, and Sophia. and with great luck, all five girls got a long so well. i was actually starting to get a little jealous that Cass was paying more attention to them than me.
Half way through dinner Paul stood up and announced the exciting news. "as you know, this tour is almost over. management have decided to give you boys four months off before you start recording your new album. think of it as a reward for having such an outstanding tour. you guys can go anywhere you want adn do what ever you want. well, as long as you dont draw too much attention to yourselves." he laughed.
