Cass POV

Two hours have passed and Harry's family had left. i really liked all of them. they were so nice and sweet.

i was outside watching the filly and the colt play around in the pipe coral. they reminded me a lot of my parents, and i know that sounds weird but its true.

the filly was hyperactive; always had to be doing something. Just like my mother, Karla. She even had that excited, mischievious look in her eyes; like she could pull a trick on you at any time.

And the colt had a calm, layed back attitude. He seemed a little reserved and just went along with what his sister did, but he never let her push him around. He was like my father in those ways.

I watched as the filly ran circles around her brother. The colt just stood there until she stopped, then would tease her by bolting to the end of the corral, resulting in his sister chasing him. I smiled as i watched these two play around. I began to think about how much money Harry had spent on this proposal and i was honored that he did all this to keep me happy. Being with him was enough to keep me happy, but i completely understand why he did this. I dont think i could see me living my life without a horse either. Not only would the child that i am carrying be our baby, but these yearlings will too. I can already tell that i am going to spoil them like crazy. We were going to be a family. A real family.

i realized that raising a child and raising two yearlings was going to be a lot of work, but i had Janie to help and all the boys as well. i was fully prepared for this responsibility.

Harry came and stood next to me. He wrapped an arm around my waist and nuzzled his nose into my cheek and kissed it.

"Harry, these yearlings are magnificent. Thank you," i said and wrapped my arms around his toned torso.

"You are absolutely welcome. Thank you for saying yes."

"How could i not?" I asked the rhetorical question. He smiled and kissed me softly.

He wrapped his arms around me again and we stood watching the yearlings. "Have you picked out names yet?" Harry asked.

I studied the colt and the filly and i just knew. Names were never a struggle for me. "This might sound weird, but they remind me a lot of my parents. So the filly, Karla's Northern Star; Karla for short. And the cold, Marcus's Beat and nickname him Jazz because my dad was obsessed with jazz music."

"Those are beautiful names. have you decided what you want to train them in?"

"I want Karla to be a show horse. She could go either way, but i think an english saddle would fit her better considering how black her coat is. And Jazz will be a western dressage or a barrel racer. I havent gotten that far yet. I do know that he has that western look to him." i laughed. "hey im a little hungry but i want to get familiar with them. is it alright if we maybe have a picnic out here?"

"you read my mind, Sweetheart." he smiled. "you stay here. i'll go get the food."

I didnt argue with him. He kissed me before he left for the house. I carefully hopped the fence and into the corral. I stood a good distance away from the horses. Jazz stopped and looked at me. When Karla notice, she shoved passed her brother and trotted over to greet me. I smiled and put my palm out and she touched it with her soft, velvety nose. I slowly stroked her nose and cheeks. She wasnt afraid at all.

Seeing that i wasnt any harm, Jazz came over and practically pushed Karla out of the way.  I laughed lightly as i realized that these two will be fighting for my affection. I was brought out of my thoughts when i heard Harry's husky voice, "They love you."

I turned around to find him holsing a basket and blanket. "i love them too." i smiled and walked over to hop the fence and join Harry. i was followed by the yearlings. I laughed at how cute they were.

Harry had set the blanket down and put the food out. I didnt really get a chance to sit down before he pulled me closer, letting me lean against him as he wrapped an arm around me. He made us sandwiches. We shared a grape. What i mean by that is, Harry teased me by putting the grape between his teeth until i attempted to take it from him... with my mouth. When i did, he let the entire grape fall into his mouth, leaving my lips on his. That entire process was just a way to get me to kiss him. i gave him a pouty face. He smirked and fed me a grape. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

After we ate, we layed on the blanket and watched the clouds fly by. I nuzzled my face into the crook of his neck. I heard him let out a quiet moan and he said, "i love you, Cassandra. There arent enough words in the world to describe how i feel about you."

"Thats how you know its true love." i smiled.

"What do you mean?"

"when you can describe how you feel about someone, it means you really only like that person. Its when you dont have the words to explain how you feel that you know its love."

"I guess my next question would be, do you have any words to describe how you feel about me?"

I lifted myself up on my elbow. i looked into his beautiful green eyes, "the only words i have are 'i love you' simply because the others do not exist."

He smiled one of the biggest smiles and kissed me passionately. I loved him. i really did.

We spent the rest of the afternoon playing with the yearlings. Then we went inside when it got dark and discussed the wedding plans. I want to keep it small, but i want it to be special too. i was determined to make our wedding day the most memorable day of our life.
