Roy and Edward pulled up to the dark haired man's house. Ed's golden fluffy ears flattened against his head as he stared at the house. It was the average size, painted white, with a welcoming oak wood door as the entrance.
There were about three small steps leading to the door, and they were white concrete. Roy got out of his car, and before locking it he stated, "Get out of the car pet." making Edward practically jump out in fear. His golden eyes were trained to the ground in front of him, not daring to look at his new master.
He didn't speak a word as they entered the house. Roy studied the boy for a few moments. He was obviously different from his previous slaves. He wasn't trying to defy him right off the bat, and he was very quiet. "Edward." Roy spoke, startling the boy. He nodded, showing that he is trying to reply. "You can talk if you'd like." He explained. Ed nodded again.
"O-Okay....Ma-Master." He replied quietly, not looking up at him. Roy raised an eye brow.
"And you don't have to stare at the ground the whole time..." He added. "It's rude to stare at the ground when speaking to someone as well." Roy explained. Ed quickly looked at Roy, his eyes widening in fear.
"I-I'm s-sorry Ma-Master...!" He apologized. Roy frowned slightly, and gently pet Edward's head. This action caused Ed to flinch away. Roy took note of this.
'Why is he so nervous? He reminds me of a newborn kitten. How the hell was he treated by his previous owner...?' The raven thought. "It's alright Edward..." He finally responded gently, so that he wouldn't scare the blonde. Ed nodded simply in reply.
"O-Okay Ma-Master....."
