Love and Chains (Eventual RoyEd)

Love and Peace

It was a couple weeks since Edward returned home, and Roy had decided to help him get over the pain he had felt. And on the side, Roy had been trying to think of ways to free him from slavery. He had found out recently that he could always buy Edward his freedom.

But now he had to think about ways to get the money to get his freedom. Once he gotten home from work, Ed jumped up from the couch he was seated in, smiling.

"Welcome home Roy!" He exclaimed. Roy smiled slightly and walked towards the blonde, wrapping him in a hug. "How's the research g-going?" He asked softly. Edward knew of the searching Roy was doing, and hope surged through him everyday, hoping Roy would come home, saying he'd be free.

But his hope began to crumble, each day nothing new happened. Roy sighed softly.

"I'm sorry Ed. Nothing new." He replied gently. Ed's ears flattened against his head, as he nodded.

"Y'know Roy....maybe you should just stop all of the pointless research. I doubt anything new will pop up..." Edward mumbled sadly. Roy quickly shook his head.

"No! Edward, I'm not giving up on you!" He exclaimed. The neko's eyes widened, and become glossy with tears. He pulled away from the raven's hug, and shook his head.

"Why?! I'm causing you so much trouble as it is! Why cause anymore?!" He cried. "Why do you care so much, about something so worthless?!" He exclaimed. Roy felt himself stiffen. The older male had known the time would come where he'd had to tell Edward his feelings, he just wished it could've waited until after the blonde neko was counted as a person. Nonetheless, he sighed softly.

"Well Edward.....I....I'm in love with you." He replied, smiling softly at the boy, a soft blush on his cheeks. The boy looked at him.

"Wha-What?!" He whispered, surprised. Roy nodded. Ed quickly walked over to him, and clung to him. Roy looked at him shocked, and his blush could only deepen.

"E-Ed?!" He asked. The neko smiled.

"I love you to!" He replied happily. Roy's face broke out into a grin, and he quickly hugged the blonde. He inched towards him, and captured his lips in a sweet, passionate kiss. Ed felt himself being pulled closer, as he returned the kiss. When they pulled apart, they grinned at one another.

"I love you."
