Love And Gone

It was about a few weeks later, when things turned sour. Edward, had begun to grow comfortable with Roy, and the older male couldn't be happier. The boy had been smiling more around Roy, and he'd been less nervous. He seemed to be more excited about things, and less shy.

Since the blonde had opened up a bit more with Roy, the raven haired man seemed to realize that the boy had not only cat like parts, but he would also act like a kitten. Recently, Roy had learned of the blonde disliking milk. The thought made him chuckle.

Currently, the two sat next to one another, enjoying breakfast. As they ate, a knock on the door sounded throughout the house, and Roy sighed. He stood up, ruffled Ed's hair and said,

"It's probably just Hughes, or maybe Hawkeye..." Roy trailed off. Edward had met Roy's coworkers, and Ed took an immediate liking to Riza. Every time Roy took Ed to work with him, Hawkeye would greet him with open arms, and whenever Roy had been busy, she'd take care of him.

From time to time, Riza would visit, and check up on the blonde. Roy had felt he could trust Hawkeye, so he had told her what happened to Edward. Ed nodded as Roy walked to the door. He opened it, and stared at the person looking at him. He was roughly pushed to the side.

"Hey!" He barked. Purple eyes looked at him.

"Here, I forgot to hand you this." The man replied, tossing Roy a piece of paper. Roy looked at him.

"What the hell?! I told you to stay away from him!" He exclaimed, as Envy grabbed Ed's arm, tugging him out of his seat. Ed let out a yelp. "What are you doing?!" Roy exclaimed again.

"By law, I'm allowed to request use of any slave." Came the beginning of his reply. "So, I'm requesting use of your pet for a year. And you can't say no." He concluded. Roy looked to Edward, a panicked look on his face.

The next thing Edward knew, he was back in the pit of hell he ran away from. Golden eyes looked around, and he was in his old cellar. The neko whimpered quietly.

"Roy.....I-I want Roy...." He whispered. "Well, he's not here." Replied a voice. Ed looked in the direction of the voice, and saw Envy. The blonde let out a squeak of fear, and tried to run away from him, only to be stopped by a chain.

"That's to make sure you don't run off again." Envy said casually. Edward let out another whimper, and his ears flattened against his head. "You best behave yourself. Unless you'd like to meet with those friendly dogs again hm?" By the time this would be over, would he even remember Roy?
