DK, Hoshi and S Coups - three members of Seventeen - walk in the trainee practice room. You along with the rest of the trainees (there are fifteen in all) stand up and greet them with a full 90° bow and a cheerful and loud-"Hello!"

Everyone is usually super excited for these meetings which take place on bimonthly basis when idols come and interact with trainees and they get to ask them questions regarding debut and training.

Especially since the evaluation process is going to be tomorrow everyone is feeling pretty worked up today and would like to receive some meaningful advice for tomorrow.

Well, everyone but you.

You feel frustrated and annoyed by the turn of events. You see a very bleak future in front of you and are not sure of what you should do. You are too much engrossed in your own thoughts to even listen to what the idols are saying. You don't bother with asking the idols questions or paying attention to the exchanges between them and the trainees.

When you had first got a call from Pledis saying that you were taken in as a trainee you had been really happy. You had felt that everything was going to be fine after this. You had thought that you would soon debut and become an idol.

And now after being a trainee for five years, you are having second thoughts. Now that you look back on the decisions you made, it feels as if accepting the dammed contract was the biggest mistake of your life. You have invested five years already in something that may not even happen. You have lived away from your family for five years. Just to train intensely every single day for five long years.

By this time, you are tired and in despair. You have lost all hope and the pressure is killing you.

When the CEO was planning to form a new girl group, you had worked so hard to be one of the members but you weren't even selected as a potential member. Now that they are going to launch Pledis Girls, they obviously are not planning to form any other girl group any time soon. You would have to first wait for at least three years before they would even form a girl group. And after that too there is no guarantee that you would get the chance to be a member of that group.

You are so lost in your own thoughts that you don't realise when the time flies by and the interactive session with the idol is over.

When most of the trainees leave for the dorm you stay behind to practice at night. Because of the internal conflict that you are dealing with you didn't practice well today. So you are planning to block out the disturbing thoughts from your mind and practice intensely.
