As you ring the doorbell to EXO's dorm Suho opens the door and asks you to come inside with a warm smile plastered on his face. He leads you to the living room where Lay is sitting reading a magazine.
When he sees you he smiles somewhat shyly and says softly, "Hey, Y/N."
Before you could say anything, Suho informs, "Chanyeol wouldn't take long. He's almost done."
You nod. After recording quite a few songs with Chanyeol, you two have become quite good friends. You have met the other members of EXO too but don't know any of them very well. All of them are really nice though, you know that.
"Has Chanyeol been taking good care of you?" Suho questions further as he gets you a glass of water which you accept with a small smile.
"Yeah," You nod. "He's always around to help me."
"Good thing," Suho says. "I'll head to the company then. I have a schedule today. It was nice meeting you, Y/N."
"Likewise," You reply.
After he is gone, it's just you and Lay in the living room. He is usually shy and quiet around you so you don't mind him reading the magazine.
"Should I go keep this glass in the kitchen?" You question him.
"No, don't bother with that." You raise your brow but he simply takes the glass from your hand. His fingers brush slightly against yours and his eyes meet yours. He seems a bit flustered by the contact.
"Hey Y/N," Chanyeol says and accidentally Lay drops the glass. The three of you are really surprised by this.
You get up immediately and bend to pick up the broken pieces of glass as Lay stands there still looking somewhat confused and lost when Chanyeol runs to you and pulls you by your hand closer to him saying, "Hey, don't be stupid. You'll get hurt."
He smiles at you sweetly while you just roll your eyes at his over-protectiveness. He is usually like that around everyone.
"Lay, you're okay, right?" Chanyeol questions. You turn to look at him who doesn't seem okay to you at all.
"Y-yeah," Lay stutters and you wonder what's wrong with him.
Chanyeol pats his back but he just seems startled. "You'll take care of this mess, right? I would've helped but Y/N waited long enough for me."
He nods, "Yeah. Don't worry about it. You two head out."
"Okay," You and Chanyeol say simultaneously and go outside. He opens the door of his car for you before getting in himself. His gentlemanly ways always make you smile.
