As I sit at my place with my friend S Coups waiting for the class to begin I roll my pen over and over again almost absentmindedly with a bored expression on my face.
Suddenly, Coups puts his hand around my neck and says-"Hey, look, a new girl with Jisoo! Isn't she hot?"
I look up and chuckle seeing his jaw drop and then my eyes land on the person he seems to be talking about. The smile on my face completely vanishes as I lock my gaze with her for a moment. All I can feel on the inside is some intense emotion that I can't really describe. I certainly didn't expect to see her here. She averts her gaze easily without any hesitation and continues to talk to Jisoo as they take their seats in the far corner.
I feel the anger inside me build as the unpleasant memories associated with her surface back in my mind. I get up feeling highly overwhelmed and immediately storm out of the room leaving behind a surprised Coups.
I lean against my locker calming down in a few minutes, realising that I overreacted.
Coups walks up to me and asks-"Dude, is everything alright?"
"Yeah." I reply.
"Then what about that fit you threw back there? Is she someone you know?"
I shrug it off trying to make him believe that it's no big deal. "Jennie Kim? Just someone I happened to cross paths with on more than one occasion."
He furows his brows and questions-"So what? You have feelings for her or something?"
I snort and almost stop midway when I see Jennie and Jisoo stand near the door looking at me blankly. I am just glad that Coups' back is turned towards them when I say loud and clear in a cold voice-"There was not a single moment when I harboured feelings for her. That's one thing for sure."
I watch the two girls leave and heave a sigh. Coups looks at me confused and raises his hands in mock defense saying-"Whatever you say bro."
I nod paying no heed to the obvious sarcasm in his tone and walk away.

The next day as Coups and I enter the classroom I am almost surprised to see a small crowd gathered near Jennie and Jisoo's seats. Joshua is playing the guitar for Jennie and everyone seems to be enjoying it.
