As you practice your song on the SBS stage, you can't help but keep shuffling on your feet. You feel highly nervous even though this is just a practice stage.
It's been only a few days since you have debuted as a solo artist and this is the first time you are standing on a stage so huge.
Your debut stage would be tomorrow where you would get the chance to perform in front of thousands of people and get to see the live performances of other idol groups as well.
Though your first music video has so far received a great response (thanks to the appearance of NCT's Taeyong), you still can't help but worry. After all, groups seem to get more attention than solo artists.
You really wanted to be a part of a girl group first and then start a solo career like sunbae Taeyeon but your agency thought that you would be able to perform better as a solo artist instead.
With all these thoughts in your head you somehow shakily wrap up your performance. Once you get off the stage you let out a sigh.
Yes, you are excited about finally starting your career but you can't deny the amount of pressure you feel. You love to sing and you love the stage but the pressure you currently feel isn't allowing you to enjoy what's in front of you.
You go backstage and sit waiting for your turn to come again to practice. You close your eyes and take deep breaths trying to make yourself feel at ease.
Your phone buzzes indicating someone texted you. You feel a bit cheered up when you see it's a message from your boyfriend, Tao.
You still have one practice left, right? I'll be there to see it. Love you. ♥
You smile and the little heart he added makes you skip a beat. Though you have already been dating him for more than six months now still you can't help but find the littlest gestures of his adorable.
When you are called again for practice, you get on the stage still nervous on the inside. Though on the outside you try to maintain a strong and charismatic persona.
As the music starts and you begin to sing, your eyes almost instantly spot Tao. He waves at you, smiles and makes heart gestures with hands.
You smile as you feel a bit more comfortable and confident and forget about the audience and everything else on your mind. You sing keeping your gaze fixated on Tao as he cheers for you throughout the song.
When your performance is over, your manager says, "This was so far your best performance here. Even you seemed to enjoy it. Perform like this tomorrow as well."
You nod with a light smile playing on your lips.

After your schedule for the day is over, Tao decides to take you to a restaurant for dinner. It makes you happy that despite his busy schedule, he took out some time for you today. He has been such a wonderful partner so far and you couldn't possibly ask for more.
You both are quiet till the dinner arrives. You watch him drum his fingers to the soft music playing in the background. You really like times like these. Life as an idol or even as a trainee is so maddening and noisy that it's almost deafening. It's hard to find moments of peace and serenity. But sitting here with him, makes you feel at ease. It's calming and you really enjoy it.
Once the dinner arrives, you both hungrily munch on it as he simultaneously tells you about his day. You laugh listening to the funny stories that happen around him at work.
"So wait, basically your stylist 'accidentally' forgot to bring the right wardrobe for your photo shoot so your today's evening schedule got cancelled?" You ask shocked.
Tao just gives a smug smile.
Your eyes widen and you say, "You shouldn't do stuff like that! You'd get in trouble. Like for real."
"But I had to come to see you perform. It was your first time getting on a stage so big. And as your boyfriend, I should get the privilege of viewing you perform before anybody else does." He shrugs.
You smile staring at him fondly. He always manages to make you feel special.
You ask, "So how was it? Do you think people will like it? I was really nervous."
He says sincerely, "Of course they'll love it! And you'll get to see and hear from a lot of fans after this. But there's this one thing I want you to remember."
"What?"
"That I'm your biggest fan." Tao's tone is serious. You burst out laughing hearing that.
He continues, "Ma'am, I've been following you since your debut and I have already watched the MV of your title track like a thousand times because you were looking so pretty. Also, I can't wait for you to release the album. I've already pre-ordered it. I was wondering if you could sign the album for me?"
"Aww, you are so cute. I love you so much!"
"I love you too, Y/N. Don't be nervous and have fun on stage. Believe me, that's all that matters."
You nod and the two of you get up as you are done with the dinner. He drives you home and you can't help but smile throughout the ride. When you reach your place, he places a light peck on your forehead.
"Night Y/N. See you tomorrow." He says.
"You too." You say and go in your house knowing that you'll have sweet dreams alright.

Anyways, I'm planning to write a BTS fanfiction soon. The title of the book is Wannabe. It would be an alternate universe full length novel. And Kim So Hyun would be the lead character. Along with lots of other actors and idols from the kpop and kdrama world. What do you guys think about it? It would have BTS in a high school setting. I'm really looking forward to writing this and hopefully, you guys would be looking forward to reading it as well.
