With the new single TT released just a week ago the members of Twice have been really busy with promotions, concerts, interviews and whatnot.
I stand outside Twice's practice room waiting for their practices to get over quickly. I am impatient and excited as it's been more than a month since I've seen my girlfriend. We only got to keep in touch through calls and texts and that was not even sufficient for me to get by through my schedule.
As Nayeon rushed out of the room hand in hand with Jihyo her face lit up the moment she saw me. The two girls made their way towards me.
"Hello," Jihyo said politely and formally. Being the son of the CEO the idols usually greet me with proper honourifics. "How have you been?"
"I'm good. You've been working hard, I've heard." I say making a small talk though I feel rather impatient.
"Ah, yes." She agrees. "Anyways, I'll get going. I've to meet my vocal trainer."
"Fighting." I say and she leaves.
I look at Nayeon who had been quiet all this while. I say softly to her–"Hey. Let's go."
I grab her hand and am about to drag her when she stops me. She is like–"You know, something weird happened. I got a call from my manager saying that all my schedules for today have been cleared up so I get a day off."
She crosses her arms and stares at me demanding an explanation.
I stall it by saying–"Good thing! Didn't you say you were exhausted from all the practices and schedules? Now you can rest . . . Or spend you time with me. Whichever sounds better."
I give her my dimpled smile while she raises an eyebrow tilting her head.
I roll my eyes and say–"Fine. I knew you were exhausted and tired from all the promotional activities so I decided to surprise you . . . ?"
