It's been over a few months since you've last seen your boyfriend. All this while you have tried to keep in touch with him through messages and calls but being on a tour he has been unable to pick up your calls or answer your messages frequently.
You lie in your bed staring at your phone hoping he would text you. You wonder if he even remembers what day it is today. You've been missing him so bad and without him you feel rather lonely.
Geez, dating an idol is tough! You think and toss aside your phone in frustration sighing loudly.
"Y/N?" You hear your best friend's excited voice. As she enters your room, she sees the frown on your face, she shakes her head in pity. That doesn't stop you from frowning though.
Tzuyu rolls her eyes and keeps the carry bag she is holding on the bed. She says as she narrows her lids, "I knew you'd be lying all distressed and troubled just because your oppa isn't here. You've been like this ever since he went on the tour. Give it a break, girl!"
"I miss him!" You pout. "And I'm waiting for him to call me today."
Tzuyu folds her arms and looks at you as she taps her feet restlessly. Then she shakes her head no. She's like, "No, this won't do. We are gonna go to a club tonight. We'll drink, we'll dance and probably hit on other guys. Now how does that sound?"
In a matter of factly tone you remind her, "I've a boyfriend."
"Oh. Right. So you don't go for the last item on the list."
You ignore her and start staring at the screen of your phone contemplating if you should text your boyfriend first today. Noticing your uninterested behavior, Tzuyu snatches your phone and puts it in her pocket.
"No matter how much you protest, I'm gonna take you out tonight and we'll have lot of fun. And then you can put our pictures on Instagram and make your oppa jealous by showing him that you're doing well enough without him."
Knowing that Tzuyu is stubborn and thinking that you could, after all, use some alcohol, you give in.
"Check this out! Isn't this gorgeous?" Tzuyu says as she takes out a black dress from the carry bag she had kept earlier on the bed and hands it to you.
"You wear this one! You'll be the prettiest girl tonight. I can't wait to doll you up!" Tzuyu continues in a super excited tone.
You laugh and change as Tzuyu picks an outfit for herself. Once the two of you put on your dresses, Tzuyu does your makeup and hair. She even gives you a pair of black heels to go with the dress. You aren't even surprised when you look at yourself in the mirror. Tzuyu has obviously done an amazing job.
Once Tzuyu gets ready, the two of you get in her car and she starts driving. You are very much surprised when she stops in front of Yugyeom's house.
"Why are we here?" You ask her.
"Go in the backyard, okay?" She tells you smiling.
You nod and get out of the car making your way to the backyard. You are surprised to see it all decorated with fairy lights, balloons and flowers. You hear a voice singing softly—
"Come fill up this void you left behind, can't let you go let's just hit rewind"
You turn around only to see Yugyeom in a black tux leaning against a tree. You smile at him. You can't believe he is here. He was supposed to be GOT7 on a tour in a different country. He slowly walks towards you and stops right in front of you. He gently caresses your cheek as he sings further—
"I gave you all my love, All of my love"
"Happy anniversary, Y/N." Yugyeom says.
The only thing you manage to say is, "Oppa, you actually remembered?"
"Of course! I had planned all this from a really long time after all. I wanted to surprise you." He says. "Did you like it?"
You shake your head no and his smile drops in disappointment. Then you say, "I didn't like it oppa. Because I loved it!"
His face lights up as you say that and he pulls you close so your noses are touching. You wrap your arms around his neck and his hands sneak around your waist. He says, "The dress I got for you looks amazing on you."
"Wait, what? Didn't Tzuyu get this for me?" You ask confused.
He shrugs and smiles. You realize just how much effort he had put in this surprise.
"Oppa, thank you so much."
He then takes you to the bench and the two of you sit down. He fishes for something in his pocket and then produces a black box. He opens it up and you're surprised to see two rings in them.
"Are these couple rings?" You ask even more surprised.
He nods as he takes your hand and slips a ring in your finger. He says, "I thought why not? I'd like to brag about my girlfriend to the entire world, after all! And also, so that you never forget how much I love you."
You slip the other ring on his finger and he pulls you close to kiss you.
