You are standing on the bridge feeling breathless. Everything around you feels like a blur. All you see is Jimin walking slowly but steadily towards you closing the distance between you. Every step he takes is filled with confidence. The charismatic smile that reaches his eyes is for you. The wind blows as you stand still making your hair dance with it. And when he comes near you, he doesn't stop. Instead, he puts his hand around your waist and pulls you close with a jerk allowing his lips to meet yours.
When he kisses you, your entire body is alight with fire and passion. There are fireworks inside and around you. You have never felt so alive in your life before. His tongue in your mouth makes the entire world disappear until all you can focus on is this feeling. All you want to do is treasure this moment and never let go. His hand is in your hair as if he can't have enough of you. The butterflies in your stomach are running wild, and this surreal moment is all you have ever wanted. The sound of your alarm wakes you up from the delicious dream you were enjoying. You groan in frustration as you turn it off trying to remember every minute of that dream. Wow, you think biting your lower lip. It is the third time this week you have dreamt of kissing Jimin. Clearly, that boy is driving you insane.
You take a deep breath and try to snap out of your Jimin-related thoughts. It is quite a feat how he has managed to take up so much of your headspace. Ever since you were paired with him for a college class, you realized how charming he really was. It was his sense of humor that got you first. With him around, there is hardly a dull moment. He is always making you laugh over the silliest things. Plus, his easygoing personality made it that much easier to just spend time with him. And then once you noticed those little tics about him--like the way he always scrunches his nose when he smiles too hard--it was hard to not fall head over heels.
Once you are ready, you head to the lecture halls to attend your first class. Ever since you developed this major crush, you have been regularly going to classes. This has so far been the only upside to your feelings.
As soon as you enter the class, you spot Jimin sitting in his usual seat. He shoots that heart-melting smile at you when he sees you making your way towards him. Taking the seat beside him, you say, "Hi."
Your voice comes out all breathless and dreamy and you mentally curse for not doing a better job at masking your feelings. Clearing your throat, you go again. "Hi."
"Hey. What's up? Did you finish the assignment we have to submit today?" He asked.
"Shoot! That was due today?"
"Ha! Just messing with you. We have to submit it next week," he answers laughing. "You really need to start paying attention in the class if you want to pass this semester."
