"Do I have to go?" Jumelle whined in protest as Alice proceeded to try and force her into Rosalie's car. "Can't I just stay in the car and read at least?"

"Just like your mother, I swear," Alice grumbled. She continued pushing and pulling Jumelle this way and that before she finally gave up.

"Can you please just get in the car?" she said, pointing at the red convertible. Jumelle shrugged and hopped inside next to her sister.

"All you had to do was ask!"

"I tried that already!" Alice cried. She slammed the door shut and Jumelle turned to Renesmee. The two girls high-fived and Bella shook her head at their behaviour.

"Nineteen-year-olds these days ..."

"No, it's not just nineteen-year-olds, Mom," Renesmee began.

"You should know by now that it's literally just us being weird," Jumelle finished off. "We enjoy making other people's lives miserable." She smiled innocently and Nessie laughed.

"You shouldn't."

"We don't."

"But you just said --"

"Honestly, Mom, do you think Ellie would literally enjoy making people question their existence?"

"I do, actually," Bella mumbled. "I thought you just wanted to find a mate."

"I do," Jumelle complained. "I just want them to hurry up and get here already!"

"Alright," Alice sang, clearly in a better mood than usual. Edward came into the garage grinning as well.

"Alice, what did you see?" Bella asked quietly as Alice hopped into the passenger seat of Rose's car. Rosalie proceeded to start up the car and the five women left, leaving the boys in the house for a day while they went shopping. Excluding Esme, of course, but they always brought something home for her.

"What?" Alice asked as if she hadn't heard Bella. Bella rolled her eyes and leaned her head against the window.

"Honestly, you'd think this family would be just the slightest bit interesting after we were born," Jumelle murmured in Renesmee's ear after ten minutes. She giggled.

"Me too."

"We're vampires; we can hear you," Bella muttered irritatedly. "Can we just hurry up and get this over with already? It's bad enough just going to the mall, but having you two saying we're boring ... I'm so done."

Jumelle chuckled. "Alright, we won't annoy you, Mommy." Bella gave her a pointed look. "What? I'm not your little girl anymore?"

"You were never my little girl," Bella said with a small smile. "You were a daddy's girl."

"I was?"

"Oh yeah," Rosalie chimed in. "Big fan of playing with his hair. You loved his piano songs, too. I still remember when he first taught you how to play; it was horrific."

"I'd expect so," Renesmee cut in. "You are a vampire; you have vampire memory." Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"You, on the other hand," Rose continued, gesturing at Renesmee. "Were a total cow when you were younger. Mommy's girl, that's what you were. You both had your respective parents and that was that."

"Okay, we don't need a detailed description on the first years of these two nutjobs," Alice cut in, putting an effective stop to the conversation. "Just drive."

"What has gotten into you, Alice?" Bella asked. "Honestly, whatever you saw got Edward in a mood too."

"What kinda mood?" Renesmee asked, waggling her eyebrows suggestively. Bella scoffed, rolling her eyes at Nessie's behaviour, and turned back to stare out the window.
