Dreamland

Maria POV

It took us a good 50 minutes to get back to Ashley's house after dropping the Luna off at the pack house. We parked her car on the road outside her house so that I would be able to get my car out still. I got out of the car and checked the time. It was about 6:10.

"You're going to help me get ready right?!" I asked Ashley.

"Oh course! What kind of a best friend would I be if I didn't?" She said while dragging me in through the garage door.

Ash led me up to her room and made me sit down on her bed while she walked into her closet. Yes, she does have a walk in closet and it is HUGE. Well mine is actually bigger, but a quarter of it is for Caden. I have more of the closet because I have more clothes. I lay down on her plush bed, almost falling asleep, it's that soft.

After a few minutes of attempting not to fall asleep, I finally caved in and fell into a deep slumber.

*Dream*

*3rd person POV*

"What do you mean you don't know?!" Caden screamed.

"I told you I know nothing. I was only sent here to find out how well your pack was guarded. I was never told why or what the reason behind it was!" The rogue yelled right back at him.

"You have to know something!" Caden said.

"Baby calm down I think he's telling us the truth. A lot of rogues who gather an army don't tell them everything about their true intentions. It's only because the 'leader' doesn't want them telling alphas the plan if they are bribed well enough or tortured until they tell," Maria explained trying to calm down her raging mate, "Just take a deep breath and calm down. You can't lose control right now, especially since our children are waiting for us to get home. Let's just be done here for the day, come back tomorrow, and try again."

"You're right hun. You," Caden pointed roughly to the rogue, "Better be more willing to tell us information tomorrow or so help me I will kill you as soon as I get the chance."

The rogue just sat there still as a brick wall. He had no response to the comment. Caden, however had already stomped out of the room with his Luna right behind him.

*end of dream*

*Maria POV again *

"MARIA WAKE THE FUCK UP!" I heard someone yelling at me. I opened my eyes and saw Ashley standing right over me.

"What? How long was I asleep?"

"Not very long, only about ten minutes while I picked out your outfit and what I was going to do about your hair and makeup."

Really? I thought to myself. only ten minutes. Huh, that dream must have been pretty fast then. I wonder what it means. Will it happen in the future sometime? What did I mean by kids? How many do I have? Was it even real? These and many other questions swarmed my head all at the same time. My head was beginning to feel dizzy.

"Hmm.. I think I'll start with your hair, then go to your makeup, and finally get you dressed." Ashley said. I'm guessing she was talking to herself because she seemed to almost be mumbling the words.

I laid my head back down and closed my eyes. I guess I was still tired, having just woken up.

"Get your lazy ass up and out of my bed before you fall asleep again." Ash told me.

"Ugh fine. It's just so comfortable."

"I know I know, but we need to get you ready!" Ashley said while leading me into her bathroom so that she could start on my hair. Her bathroom was almost like a beauty parlor because it had the perfect chair, perfect counter space, perfect size room, and the perfect accessories and necessities needed.

She got out her purple curling wand, some bobby pins, and her hairspray. Ashley also grabbed her hairbrush and comb. She started brushing through my hair. Once that was done, she parted it where she needed it parted. After all of this was finished, she picked up part of my hair and her curling wand.

This is when the fun really begins! Note the sarcasm.
