Maria Point of View

Caden, being the gentleman he is around me, opened and held the door for me. I slowly walked inside, still in awe that I was actually here. Caden walked in after me and put his arm around my waist.

"Ready for tonight?" He whispered in my ear.

I blushed slightly and said, "Ready as I'll ever be."

Since there were two sets of doors, Caden went and opened the second set for me. As soon as I walked through the doors my jaw dropped. I was speechless at the moment. The whole restaurant was empty. There was a bunch of candles lit around the room, rose petals on the ground, and one light on one table. The flower petals made a straight path directly towards the lit table.

I was frozen to the ground as I stared at the sight in front of me. It was absolutely breathtaking. I can't believe Caden would go through all of this for me. His arm slipped around my waist once more and he led me to my chair, pulling it out for me and pushing it in.

No more than a minute after we sat down there was a waiter at our table. We ordered our drinks, I got a glass of champane and Caden got a beer. We started looking over the menu and I found what I wanted to get right away. I decided to order the Baked Penne. It is a penne in creamy garlic sauce, topped with mozzarella and baked until golden. I think it sounds delicious.

Caden took slightly longer than I did, but eventually settled on getting the Juicy Lucifer Burger. It consisted of a big patty of grass-fed ground beef smothering a hot molten epicenter of cheese. He added bacon to the burger and he ordered tater tots to go with it.

It did not take for the chefs to bring out our dishes. I looked up as our waiter came to give us our food. Much to my surprise it was not a waiter, it was Gordon Ramsay himself! It turns out that he had been the one who cooked our food and now was bringing it out to us. I must have looked like a complete idiot with my mouth hanging open in surprise, once again, because he started slightly chuckling and so did Caden.

Caden was the first one to talk since I still wasn't out of shock that Gordon Ramsay was here and I was getting to meet him.

"Hi, I'm Caden and this is my fiance Maria. It's a very pleasent surprise for her since hse was not expecting you to be here."

"Oh, it was no problem. I was coming towards Minnesota anyways. I have a tour that is starting in Chicago, Illinois soon." Gordon says.

"Oh. My. God. It's actually you! Like in the flesh and right in front of me. Oh my god this is absolutely amazing. I am such a huge fan of your shows and your restaurants are my favorite place to eat! I am so sorry I am rambling now.... Again I am so sorry, it's just that you're one of my idols and I admire you so much. Okay, I guess I'll just shut up now, but first can I please get your autograph?" I began to ramble off a lot of words, faster than I could process them in my own head.

"No problem. I'll be back with that signature in one second and I'll get your food while I'm at it."He responded.

Later, he came back with our food and the signature.

Needless to say, this was one of the best nights of my life so far.

*fast forward two months*

I twirled around in a circle in front of my mirror. I had to admit I looked beautiful.

My father walked in and came up next to me.

"You look absolutely stunning honey. Caden is a very lucky man. I'm so proud of you."

"Thank you daddy. That means a lot to me. I can't believe this day has finally come." I said, my eyes never leaving my dress. My eyes started to tear up when my father came behind me and hugged me.

"It's going to be the best thing you've ever done in your life don't worry. I know you won't regret a thing." My father told me.

I was close to crying out of joy. This was my day and I could not be any happier.

Ashley barged into the room, ruining the father-daughter moment we were having. I turned around, ready to face whatever she wanted to throw at me, literally or not.

"What do you want?" I asked her.

She moved her hands out from behind her back and threw my veil at me.

"Put it on. Now!" she yelled at me. "You need to be walking down that aisle, looking perfect, in less than 5 minutes! Now let's go!" Ash rushed over and started helping me.

"Damn girl you seem more excited than I am and it's MY wedding not yours!" I told her as she fidgeted with my veil, "You're getting married in less than a year so stop worrying about mine."

Ashley had found her mate while she was shopping in Victoria Secret. He was there with his girlfriend, at the time, but as soon as he took notice to her he broke it off with her. Right in the middle of the store too! And to make things worse he went straight over to Ashley and kissed her with so much passion that his ex ran out crying. Later, we found out his name was Alexander O'claire and he was the star quarterback of USC. We may be werewolves but that doesn't mean we don't participate in human things.

"Oh whatever! You're the one getting married right now! Let me worry about you while you worry about that baby."

Yeah, I'm pregnant. Caden and I went to see the pack doctor two days ago because I was puking every morning for a week and he was getting worried. It turns out I am two weeks pregnant and that the baby is due in ten weeks.

Werewolf babies do not take the standard human time to develop, nine months, because everything we do is multiplied by like 3. We're faster, stronger, have better eyesight, etc. Our babies are fully developed in twelve weeks. We start showing dramatically at around five weeks, but since I was only two weeks along I wasn't showing much.

"Done!" Ashley screeched, "You look absolutely perfect now! Now all that's left to do is show you off to your lovely husband to be."

My father came over to me and gave me one last hug before we walked down the aisle.

"My baby girl is all grown up," I heard him say, sniffling slightly.

"Don't you dare start crying or I will and then Ashley would probably kill me for ruining my make up."

"Damn straight I would!" she shouted from across the room.

"Well then let's go get you married to your mate."

"Ryder get back here! You know mommy can't chase you!" I yelled after my 3 year old son.

"Caden go get your son and bring him back," I told my husband of three amazing years.

"Yes ma'am, will do. Anything else you want?"

"Hmm... How about an iced tea with lemon? Ooo and maybe some chips and salsa! Yeah could you get me that?" I asked him, giving him my best puppy dog eyes.

"You know I can't say no to you. Especially when you're carrying my daughter in your belly. Someone has to keep you guys happy."

"Thanks! You're the best! I'm sure Olivia appreciates it just as much as I do."

"What?! We never agreed on Olivia! I think we should name her Jesy!"

"Just go get Ryder. We can talk about what you want to name OUR daughter later," I told him turning my back to him.

"You can't be mad at me! Okay fine I'll go get Ryder, but we aren't done with this conversation."

I smiled in victory. Slowly, I turned back around to see Caden walking towards Ryder. He picked up speed and ran to him, picking him up off of the ground and spinning him in circles.

This was my life now and I couldn't be any happier.
