Confession (Hide)

Hi! So I don't usually do this, but I just wanted to promo and let you guys know that I have a new OS collection out! If you like Black Butler/ Kuroshitsuji, then hopefully you will enjoy my OS'! I'LL BE BACK IN AROUND 10 MINUTES ^.^

You stared at the message on your screen, tapping your finger nervously on the edge of your phone. Hide had messaged you 3 minutes ago about him returning back to your apartment. Thoughts had been running through your head all day about telling the truth to your boyfriend- telling him you were a ghoul. 

You and Hide had started dating over 8 months ago, and he was the most important person in your life. You both loved each other immensely, and you told each other everything. He always listened to your troubles and calmed you down, but you worried that the truth about you would take it too far. Although Hide never showed any side to humans or ghouls, your heart still ached with anxiety for his reaction. 

All day you had been pacing the apartment for the moment when he stepped into the house, practicing any and every line you could come up with to ease the truth. You stared into the mirror countless times to prepare yourself. Your heart beat faster than usual and your hands shook as you wiped the sweat dripping from your forehead. You were terrified of the reaction he would give, if he would report you to the CCG. 

You made yourself some coffee to calm your nerves, but they didn't decline. The message was sent 8 minutes ago, and Hide would be coming back to the truth very soon. He had been out all day with Kaneki, and he promised to bring back food. Your stomach hurt as you thought of the burgers he always loved brought home for the two of you to eat. Although it made you sick, you ate what you could for him. You couldn't bare to see his bright smile fall into sadness. You constantly threw up what he gave, but only when he wasn't looking. Unfortunately and fortunately, he was almost always by your side- so you ended up digesting a lot of the human food. 

Breathing in slowly, you heard the front door being unlocked. You took a deep breath, and waited for the voice. 

"Hello, Y/N? I'm back!" Hide cheerfully shouted from the hallway. 

"H-Hey...Hide..." You quietly greeted him back. You heard the shake of a plastic bag and footsteps coming towards you. Hide emerged from behind the door, a bright smile on his face. 

"I brought back Big Girl's!" He celebrated, rustling the large bag in his hands. 

"Great...we can have it soon!" You forcefully acted happy, you weren't sure if now was the right time. Hide nodded, before walking away to the kitchen. You put your phone onto the seat next to you and though to yourself. 

Hide...I need to tell you something. I know this will be a big shock...but... I-

Your thoughts were interrupted by the sickening smell of the burgers being placed next to you. Hide walked over to sit next to you, handing you a packet. 

"I got the same for both of us today." He said, opening the paper. 

"Okay, thank you." You nervously said. 

"If's ohkay" He muffled through the burger. You smiled at his goofiness. After swallowing a bite, Hide noticed you were staring at the packet, your eyes clearly showing signs of fear. "Y/N? Are you okay? You going to eat?" You flinched, looking up to see Hide's slightly worried face.
