I opened my eyes and realized that I have forgotten to close the curtains last night, because the morning sun is shining on my face. I smiled and turned around to face the man who claims to be my "eternal companion"--but he's not beside me anymore. I stood up and for some cheesy bone in my body, I expected a romantic note from him, but all I got was a text message. I giggled as I thought about our conversation last night--he keeps on changing me, and I'm loving it. I've never fallen in love before so what I'm feeling now is both foreign and wonderful to me. My first kiss, my first love--Gah! I have a lot of first to explore even more. I've been smiling for a few minutes now when I frowned, there's another first that I might meet--first heartache. I brushed the negative thought off and tied my hair in a ponytail before reading Lehi's text.

"You were sleeping soundly; I couldn't bring myself to wake you up. You can meet me downstairs once you're awake. I love you." I couldn't help but smile at his text message. I placed my phone in my back pocket and went downstairs. I looked at the dining area, but he's not there. I checked the music room and the library, but he wasn't there either. I was about to sit down and call him when Maria called my attention.

"Are you looking for Sir Lehi?" she asked.

"I am, actually." I smiled at her "Did you happen to see him?"

"He's at the back--busy." Busy? I wonder what's keeping him busy. I walked past Liahona who was busy eating and she stared at me until I got out of the double glass doors. I walked on the wooden balcony and looked around until I spotted Lehi--and OMG, he looks like breakfast you'll want to be served in bed. He's wearing ripped jeans that are slightly faded--with no top. Christian Grey's Red Room of Pain jeans came to my mind and I flushed. Lehi's cutting wood for some reason and I can't help but gawk at his amazing body--I bit my lip unconsciously as I watch his muscles flexed then laughed when Maria called my attention.

"Why the hell is he cutting wood for?"

"He's doing what men do during the old days in my country when they're courting someone." Maria smiled, watching Lehi.

"So, do you think he's courting me?"

"Maybe, he kept on asking me what was the best way to get a girl's heart, when you spent a weekend with your friend." she looked at me, then continued, "He really likes you, Ms. Snow, I can see that--and you feel the same way, am I right?" I widened my eyes at her then giggled.

"I do--in my whole existence; I never thought I'd ever like someone. It scares me to death though--the idea of getting my heart broken."

"You don't have to be afraid, Ms Snow. You just need to have faith in what you feel." she placed her hand on my shoulder "What you're feeling right now is also good for you--you're even more glowing than before" she smiled at me and I smiled back. How I wish my mother is here and giving me advises about love. I looked back at Lehi one more time and saw that he's finished with what he's doing and so I followed Maria inside.

Lehi was wearing a white shirt when he sat beside me at the island table, but I noticed that he's still wearing the same ripped jeans he wore earlier. I flush at the yummy memory and smiled at him. I greeted him a good morning and he greeted me back. Maria served us our breakfast, and I smiled at his expression as he looked at the food that Maria served. "It's edible." I muttered and Maria chuckled.

"It's black? Black porridge?" Lehi asked and I chuckled.

"It's called champorado. It's actually a sweet chocolate porridge in Philippine cuisine. It's usually served for breakfast. Try it, you'll love it, and you can put sugar and milk to make it taste sweeter if you want." he hesitated for a while then tried it as we watched him closely while he take his first spoonful of the dish.
