Lehi's POV
I held Olivia by the shoulders as we walked to designated room in our house. I also asked Martin to bring glass water to her room. Damn, I'm so worried. I've never seen Olivia this way before. Maybe it's a bad idea to tell her that I love her, and then kiss her! Is she in shock? I hope not, or my mum will kill me. I know that she's repulsive to touch, especially from men--I'm so stupid.
"O, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry; I was stupid and reckless to do that to you. I should've waited." I said as I sat her on the edge of the bed. I sat in front of her to see if she's okay or--wait, she's blushing. I remember seeing her blush before, but this one is different. She's normally blushing because of her rosy cheeks--I liked that about her, besides her brown eyes. Okay, she's looking at me now. God, she's so beautiful. I thought. She really is, she's more beautiful than Cassandra. Cassandra's pretty, but there's something different about Olivia's countenance. She glows, whatever the situation is. I touched her cheeks, placing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
"Please say something... or slap me, for goodness sake." I mouth a thank you to one of the maids as she placed a glass of water on the bedside table. Hopefully she won't say anything to my mother--I don't wanna worry her and I don't want to hear anything from my father. I was about to open the windows to let some air in when La Traviata played on Olivia's iPhone. She really needs to change that ringtone. I looked at the caller ID and saw that Ezra was the one calling. I looked at Olivia before answering.
"Olivia, at last! I've been calling you for an hour now." he sounds worried.
"It's Lehi who you're talking to."
"Why do you have her phone? What happened to her? Where is she?"
"She's here with me, in one of our guest rooms. She's fine--I think."
"What do you mean you think?!"
"I think she's in shock. Have you ever seen her this way before?"
"What--no. What does she look like?"
"Well, she's just sitting straight, looking straight, she's pale but she's really, really blushing--like scarlet blushing." I explained.
"You finally told her, didn't you?"
"Yes, I did tell her. I finally confessed that I love her. What's it to you? Can't handle competition?"
"Do you really think you're good enough for her, Lehi?" he spat my name. This guy's so full of himself.
"I'm plenty enough for her, and I'll fight for my right for her."
"Then tell me this, did you do anything without her consent that made her like that?"
"Sort of--I kissed her." There, you happy now?
"You kissed her? So that's why she's like that. It's her first kiss, you--place the phone on her ear, I'll talk to her." First kiss. I'm Olivia's first kiss. I walked to Olivia and placed the phone on her left ear. I think Ezra called her attention, because she shifted her head.
"Olivia?" I called her attention. She looked back at me and held the phone, brushing her soft hands against my hand. I stood as she stood. I looked at her face to see if she's mad at me or something. She ended the call as she walked to the windows and took a deep breath. She finally faced me and her face is back to normal--she's not pale anymore and her natural rosy cheeks are back. "Are you okay now?" I asked.
