Planning the Proposal

Lehi's POV

I opened my eyes and heard the sound of the ocean. It's cloudy today, I checked my wrist watch and it says 8:22am, I moved a little and looked at my arm and the beautiful creature sleeping, using it as her pillow. Her lips are slightly parted, but she looks peaceful nonetheless. I touched her rosy cheeks and waited for those wonderful brown eyes to open. My mind wandered back to the day when I learned about my being an Immortali and how awesome I felt when I learned that Olivia's also an Immortali. How awesome is that I fell in love with a girl, and I get to spend an eternity with her? Top that!

I'm not in a hurry to be immortal, I'm not afraid to die, as long as I'm with the one I love. I just want to have and give Olivia the full package. I wanna show her how serious I am, and how I really love her so. I've never been so attracted and in love with a woman this way before. When I looked into her eyes, I already knew that she's really special; that's why I couldn't bear her getting mad at me because of my attitude when she hired me. I grabbed my sling bag behind the log on my back and took out my camera. I held it up high and pretended to be asleep as I took a "selfie" of me and Olivia, afterwards, I moved a little bit so I can take a picture of how sleepful she is. I'm glad that she's no longer having nightmares--that scared the shit out of me. I want to be the man who'll change everything in your life for the better, I told her in my mind and kissed her forehead. She started to move then slowly opened her eyes, and of course, I watched slowly as the most wonderful set of eyes I've ever seen fluttered open. "Good morning beautiful" I greeted her as she moved closer to me. She played with my messed up hair then smiled.

"Good morning handsome," I smiled back "unruly hair suits you. You look hot." I chuckled then planted a chaste kiss on her lips. She moaned softly and I had to kiss her again. My resolve really was strengthened when I looked into her eyes that are staring at my eyes with compassion. I will marry her. I will marry this woman whom I love the most. I just have to plan when and how to do it. I have to ask Scarlet about her ideas on romantic things, I have to Google too. "Dollar for your thoughts?" her voice chimed.

"I'm just thinking about something nice to do for you. You'll absolutely love it, but as of now, we have to get up because we have a fund raising to attend." She sat up and massaged my arm when I sat up too. I love it when she touches me, it sends current throughout my body. It must be my immortal self heightening my senses whenever we touch. Maybe I'm just madly in love. I'm madly in love with Olivia Snow--I beamed. We cleaned up and promised to do the stargazing again. She linked her hand on my cubital fossa (elbow pit) as we walked back home. I can do this every day--forever even--and we'll do this on our wedding day. I have to get on the research right away.

We walked side by side when we got to the venue, and I can't help but admire Olivia from behind. Everyone seems enslaved by her beauty as well because all of the photographers of different companies--even the media outside--kept on taking her pictures. I didn't miss my chance as well, I took pictures of her and of course, other things on going with the event, a man's gotta do his job. I kept a steady eye on her wherever she goes because I wanna make sure that she's safe--even if she's super girl sometimes--like my very own GFT2000. I even met her own security team that I never knew existed. Think of me as Tony Stark, Happy doesn't live with me--he shows up when I need him too she said. Besides, her address is very private so no one can find her, unless someone stupid will spit her address out. Now I understand why she seemed wary when I showed up on her front door one morning.

"Lehi" I turned around and looked into my father's eyes. Right, he'll surely be here.

"What do you want?" I snapped, this man really irritates me. "I'm here to work dad." I added. He ran his fingers through his hair, and then looked at Olivia.
