Allie
It's been a few days since the huge fight, honestly, I've still been avoiding Sophie and... Well pretty much everyone. I sat in my room going over mom's journal and searching every possible thing I could to find more on this Lachlan guy.
Lachlan was born over three hundred years ago in Australia and sold his soul in his mid twenties in return for something, not sure exactly what it was. He because a crossroads demon around fifty years ago, and makes the deals. I wasn't sure how I even found this information, but I guess other hunters have been hunting him down as well.
"Hey" Lucy said from the doorway, "Uh... Simon called the house, he'll be over in a bit. Said something about Lachlan"
I looked up and nodded, "Just send him up whenever"
She left shortly after that, I think she got that I didn't want to talk to her or Sophie. I reached over and put my headphones on and went to music, I played "I'm not Famous" by AJR, which I was obsessed with. I zoned back out in the research.
Simon (Would you look at that)
Sophie was the one to let me into the house, smiling a small, but fake smile. I didn't know what it was, but I just really did not like her. "Hey Simon, Allie's upstairs"
I just nodded and went upstairs. Maybe it was the fact that she just seemed to be so full of herself, I normally hated people like that. I wasn't sure if she liked me either, seeing as I could feel her staring at me coldly when I walked past her. I just ignored it and went upstairs.
Allie was laying down on her bed with a laptop and a couple different note pads, playing music loud enough that I could hear it from the doorway, "Hey!"
Of course she didn't hear me, so I picked up something from on top of the dresser beside the door which happened to be a SnapBack. I threw it at her, it hit her in the head, which was what I had intended to do, but hey it worked. She looked up and took off her headphones.
"Hey" She said, smiling. She got up and walked over, "Have you gotten anything on Lachlan yet?"
"Not much, sorry"
She just rolled her eyes and walked back to the bed and picking up one of the notepads. I followed and sat on the chair. "Unlike you, I have a lot. He goes by Lachlan power, sold his soul for an unknown reason and is now a crossroads demons, here's the notes, I'm going to get us something to drink"
"It's like eleven in the morning"
"It's Happy hour somewhere my dear" she said, winking and getting up and walking out, I would be lying if I said I didn't check her out a bit. I mean, she was an attractive girl. Who wouldn't? I went back to what I was actually supposed to be doing, which was reading over the notes.
I remembered back to years ago when me and Lachlan were fighting, when I tried to make a deal and kill him. He surely wasn't one to be messed with. He would fuck you up.
Honestly, he seemed way too powerful to just be a crossroads demon, but maybe I was underestimating them.
Allie came back eventually with two beers and a bit of food or whatever, "Alright. So that's all I got. Do you have any idea how we're going to summon him?"
"W-What" I sputtered out, the question hitting me by surprise. "Why the hell are you summoning him?"
"To talk" she shrugged.
"Oh yeah, cause that's what we do, just go and summon one of the most powerful demons in the universe so you can have a tea party" I say, mocking her. She rolls her eyes.
"He's a crossroads demon, you can summon him. If worse comes to worse, we kill him. Alright? Besides, he may know where my mom is" she explained.
I sighed, "You are going to get yourself killed"
"I'll have you there to protect me"
"Hold on, what the hell do I have to do with this?"
"I need backup" she just said. She got up and went to put the notes and stuff away, "Oh, and you owe me one for saving your life, remember?"
"Huh?"
"Listen. Lucy and Sophie are sure as hell going to say no, and your my best bet. So you're coming with me, alright?"
I sighed, but then realized something, "Sure, on one condition"
"And what's that"
"You'll go out for a... drink or something with me" I say, stuttering a little. I was normally a lot better at this, but I seemed to be messing up a bit. She stood where she was for a second before smiling.
"That sounds... fun" I don't think she got it though, maybe she just thought of us as friends or whatever. She walked over to the door, "When are you thinking we should go?"
"How about right now. Just the two of us, I know a nice restaurant just down the road" I tried my best at hinting that I was in fact, supposed to be a date.
She paused, her mouth open just a bit, "Gee, that sounds nice and all but I have to do... Things this afternoon to do and you know" she sputtered out. "I'm going to do check and see what Lucy and then are doing I'll be right back"
I smirked a little as she left in a hurry and chuckled to myself, "Playing hard to get, I love a challenge"
Sorry, it's quite short. It's just filler however. Also, what do you guys think about the Simon and Allie relationship so far? I'm not too sure of it, but it's cool.
