Allie (Yes, I'm taking over for today, Lucy will be updating
Gabriel and I walked into the house just a few hours later, the ride to the location was three hours both ways, which I didn't see as long before. It was definitely long.
Somewhere on the ride home I realized, this whole breakup thing - if you could even call it that - wasn't worth crying over, crying was reserved for death or loss, I didn't lose Simon. He was still here. Hell, I didn't even care anymore.
The whole situation turned funny, however. As Simon was jealous. When Gabriel introduced himself - as Matthew for some reason - Simon talked back with a jealous facial expression. The thought still made me smile. He had lost his chance and he knew that. Now he had to suffer.
Yeah, sure, maybe he was dating Sophie and maybe they were happy, but I knew he still felt something for me, which would probably hurt their relationship and in the end he should've choose me. Well, who cares anymore.
It was later in the day now, we had all sat around the island in the kitchen and ate lunch and talked about the demon summoning stuff. No one knew what it was, but we assumed it was a satanic ritual of some sort. Gabriel had no input on the situation, he may know, he may not. He seemed to not want to give away his true identity, which was fine.
I wanted to tell them all that it was Gabriel, but I didn't. I didn't care if they still thought I was crazy. I know knew I wasn't crazy, cause they all saw Gabriel.
Now I was laying on the bed, looking up at the ceiling. Gabriel was sitting on a chair going through everything in my room and saying stupid praises like "I remember when this was invented, what a fine day that was" or "Why was this ever made, it's completely useless"
I just ignored him.
There was a knock at my door and I got up to open and answer it, a smile on my face. However it faded when I saw who was there, "What?" my voice came out ratchet and angry. Simon stood there, looking everywhere but my face.
"Hey, can I talk to you" his eyes scanned past me to look - no, glare - at Gabriel. "Alone?"
I looked over at Gabriel and he got up and walked over to the doorway, "Yeah, have fun. I've got to get going anyways"
"I can drive you home" Simon offered. Why the hell would he offer.
"Nah, I'm all good hot stuff. I can walk"
And then he left. I was assuming he'd just teleport, but I guess he had to wait until no one saw him. I turned back to Simon and invited him in my room.
"Listen. I'm here to apologize. About... Well... Everything" he said, scratching the back of his head. I closed the door behind me and leant up against it- for easy escape. If needed.
"What for?" I say sarcastically.
"Listen. I want you to know that I didn't... Kiss first... That was Sophie" He started. Oh? He didn't. So Sophie pulled the first move.
"And?"
"Well, I'm sorry that I kissed back" Oh, he's just admitted to kissing back. What a surprise. (Sarcasm)
"So how long have you guys been dating for? A week? Two weeks?" I ask out of random. Simon seems taken aback.
"We're... Not dating"
"Oh, but you want my permission to ask her out?"
"No! No! I don't feel anything for her!" He whisper/shouted.
Wait.
He didn't like her? They weren't dating? This wasn't a scheme to hurt me? But then why did he kiss back?
