Hey guys, guess who's back? Miss me? Who am I kidding no one missed me. Anyways, I was reading this whole book over while I was away (due to boredom) and I've been noticing it's all dull and sort of a flat story (get what I'm saying?) Do not worry, this is only the beginning and the action will officially be starting soon (I have a big event planned that will be happening and such) so yeah, also, hope you guys like Lachlan, cause you'll be seeing a lot more of him.

Also now I have to clear up everything that's been happening with Allie (Which Lucy didn't seem to understand and so I have to fix up that) but it's all good, just makes a longer chapter.

Anyways, onto this story.

Allie

Something was wrong with me.

That thought had been playing around in my head for a full week and a half now. I couldn't feel anything, which wasn't normal. It's like I had the inability to care.

Except this isn't some sassy bitch talk, I mean like Sophie or Lucy could literally die right now and I wouldn't give two shits.

But that was only the start. I couldn't sleep. Like I hadn't slept in a week. Right now I was laying on my bed, it's two in the morning, and I'm wide awake. I just can't seem to do it.

Of course, I'd adjusted to this, I took up more cases and stuff and brought guys home for something to pass the time with. Okay, there was definitely something wrong with me.

But I had to admit, this whole no feelings thing was awesome. I didn't get hurt!

Lucy and Sophie seem to be playing this all off as if I'm coping with the whole Simon and Sophie thing... Which I'm not, I couldn't care less about them. But I found that as just an easy option to go with that wouldn't cause them to worry, so I went with it.

I rolled over to look at the side table, three in the morning, I was an hour off. I just shook my head and got up. I'd go on a hunt, there was one recently that happened to be something mom would go look at. Maybe I'd find her. I honestly didn't even care if I found her or not anymore either but this was a pass time. So it worked out.

No one in the house was up. Simon might be, I think he brought a guy or girl or someone home like an hour ago or something, but they might be asleep already.

Sophie and Vikk had also seemed to go off and disappear last night, what they were doing? My guess was renting a crappy motel to hook up.

Lucy seemed to be a bit worried, freaking out over a small little thing in the news that could've been them. I had assured her it wasn't and that they'd be fine.

I rolled to my left, causing me to fall off my bed. That might be a sign that I need to get up and moving.

Simon

I laid on the right side of my bed, staring up at the ceiling. Some girl I met at the bar was laying on the other side. Kathy? Katie? Whatever it didn't matter, she'd be gone in the morning.

I heard a noise that sounded like a crash from downstairs, and being in my wide awake state, I went to go investigate.

A black figure was moving around downstairs, a bit of long blonde hair shun in the light coming from the moon when she opened the door. Typical Allie, leaving at stupid o'clock in the morning.

Normally, I would go back to sleep but I was curious and wide awake, so I followed her.

I went over to her car and open the door to the passenger side and climbed in. Allie looked over at me a little confused but she just shrugged it off and started the ignition, "Can I help you?"
