Third Person POV
Three different cars, all going to the same place. Sophie was breaking down into tears already, she can't believe that she's loosing her big sister today. Lucy couldn't help but feel bad for the young one, she tried to comfort her as best as she can but, it wasn't working. Lucy, however, was just worried about herself and Allie. Lucy was trying her best to fight back tears but, she had to be strong for her younger sisters.
In one car had Josh, and JJ in the front and Simon and Allie in the back. Allie rested her head on Simon's shoulder, both of them trying to fight back tears. "This is it" Allie said with her voice cracking
"Yeah, I can't believe it" Simon paused and he clenched his fists in anger. "Why does it have to be you? I can't loose you, I can't!" He exclaimed, of course, he knew Lucy was going to take place for Allie but, it was still hard on him. In the front seat, Josh and JJ exchanged pitiful glances in the front. They felt bad for Simon and Allie, they loved each other so much but, somethings always goes wrong with them, you can't help but feel bad.
Meanwhile Lucy and Chris were just enjoying each other's company while they can. Freya was in the backseat like an awkward third wheel, she had fell asleep a while ago. Chris doesn't even know that Lucy's going to sacrifice herself and all Lucy could do was hold him while she still can. Lucy was going to miss him even if he started to turn a little bitter but, love works in mysterious ways.
Sophie and Vikk were in a separate car in the back seat. Sophie was snugged up against Vikk's chest letting the tears fall and Vikk could only hold her and whisper sweet nothings in her ear to try and make her feel better. Vikk looked down and Sophie and could only feel sad for her. She just lost her best friend, basically her brother, and now she's loosing her sister. No one should even go through this. Ethan and Emily were in the front looking in the rear view mirror only smiling at the couple. Vikk was trying to be as comforting as possible from stroking her hair and telling her things that would hopefully sooth her.
Everyone was a mess, they were loosing someone else today, someone who has been with them all this way and, no one can believe it.
Allie's mind was elsewhere. She was trying to plan out her "big speech", which was going to be epic cause she wanted to go out like a hero.
Lucy was in a similar place. If this all went down as expected then she would only have five seconds or so to say something or else Allie would catch up. Both of them going would be useless.
On the other side of the continent - a place where they had agreed would be the safest - two angels and two demons sat around a table at a coffee shop.
Reese was fiddling with a pen, she wanted to help and be part of the action, but the spell was dangerous. It would kill any demon in sight. Sophie was the only multidimensional wavelength of celestial intent that would be able to survive the thing, since she still carried a human soul in her vessel.
Lachlan was going off about what would happen next. It was crazy, but believed that Mitchell was a lock. Like a metaphorical lock on a cage... And you know what happens when the lock is broken? The contents of the cage come spewing out.
However, what those contents were was a mystery. Maybe world peace was locked in there somewhere.
Preston and an angel that shall not be named where sat discussing the possibilities, none seemed worse the Mitchell however and they were not worried.
Back to the others.
The ride to Cambridge was all too short. No one wanted to get out of the cars, though it would do no good to sit around and mope.
