Connie sat in the chair looking at the mirror as she had her hair and makeup done.
Her wedding day was finally here and she couldn't be happier.
In all honesty she never expected to get here, to be getting married again and especially not to a man as amazing as Jacob.
Looking back it was hard to believe how far they'd come, complete strangers until he walked into the ED, her ED, where she couldn't take her eyes off him.
She'd never been one to believe in love at first sight, but if there was ever a moment to convince her it was real, that was the moment.

Half an hour later her hair and makeup was complete, and it was time to get into her dress.
Zoe helped her, doing it up for her as she stood in front of the full length mirror.
"Connie, you look amazing" she told her as Connie slipped on her shoes.
"Thank you" she smiled.
Grace came over and hugged her whilst dressed in her bridesmaid dress, "you look beautiful mummy" she said.
"Aww thank you sweetheart. You look so adorable, I'm so proud of you baby girl" Connie replied.
"I think someone else wants their mummy!" Rita said as she carried over Maya in her little dress.
"Oh don't you look perfect, yes you do" Connie cooed as she took Maya who began to gurgle and giggle.
"Ready to become Mrs Masters?" Zoe asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be" she replied.

Connie stood at the entrance to the ceremony room with Charlie's arm linked with hers.
Music began to play then Grace, Rita and Zoe, who was carrying Mia, made their way down the isle.
Finally it was Connie's turn, and she took a deep breath before beginning her walk with Charlie.
Jacob's jaw dropped, he'd never seen someone so beautiful.
Charlie kissed her cheek as she stood in front of Jacob who took her hands in his.
"You look so so beautiful baby" he whispered.
Connie blushed and smiled, "you don't look too bad yourself muscles."

Both Connie and Jacob had written their own vows, feeling it made it all more special and personal.
"Connie, meeting you was the best thing that could possibly happen to me. You're everything I could of ever asked for, beautiful both outside and in, caring, smart and funny. Then you're amazing in bed which is a complete bonus of course. You've given me something so special, made me so happy. You're an amazing mother to Noah, Grace and Maya, and I'm proud that from now on I'll be able to call you my wife. I truly am the luckiest man on earth. I promise to dedicate every second of my life to making you and our children happy, because that's what matters most to me. I love you sweetcheeks" he said as he slid the ring onto her finger.

Connie had tears streaming down her cheeks, laughing slightly as she leant into kiss him.
"Don't make me cry anymore, I'll ruin my make up" she said.
He smiled and brushed away a stray tear, "you'll still be beautiful to me baby" he told her.
She smiled and took his hands, "Jacob Masters, I don't even know where to start. Funny, loving, handsom, damn right irritating but it's one of things that just makes me love you more and more. Barging into my ED, this hunky fearless know it all, I never imagined that I'd be marrying you. I know our relationship wasn't exactly conventional to start with, our lack of relationship considering the circumstances. There's been some ups and downs but we've pulled through because we are stronger together. I couldn't of asked for a better family, three beautiful children and the perfect man. I wouldn't change it for the world. I love you" she said.

Jacob smiled and kissed her forehead as she placed the ring on his finger too.
"Now is there anyone that knows of any lawful impediment so that Connie and Jacob may not be married?" the registra asked.
Connie and Jacob both threw a glare over to his mother who glared back whilst his father chuckled a little before giving the couple a reassuring smile.
"Well then, it gives me great pleasure to  pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride" she told them with a smile.
Everyone cheered as Jacob placed his hands on Connie's back, lowering her down to the floor like the do in the movies, before pressing his lips to hers in a passionate kiss.
Cal carried over Noah, then Zoe carried Maya as Connie and Jacob parted.
She took Noah and bounced him on her hip as Jacob took Maya, Grace standing in the middle in front of them.
"Our perfect family, I love you Mrs Masters" Jacob said with a smile.
"I love you too Mr Masters" she grinned.
