I stared up at the sky from the hotel room that I was in and thought of Akashi's words. I had died and been reborn for the past three thousand years? After telling me that he had dropped me back into the hotel and flown off again. I had been standing at the window for the past hour, my mind going over everything he said. It seemed too unreal, to fantastic to be true but my mind wasn't rejecting it. Instead I went over all the dreams I had and it all seemed to click in place. Sometimes I was running along cobbled streets, sometimes dirt ones. I remember a dream where I was in a desert and I could have sworn that a half built pyramid was on the horizon. When I had woken up I had shook it off as just a dream but thinking about what Akashi had said tonight perhaps I had really been alive when the pyramids were being built. There was a knock on the door and I turned to see the two men from the club walk in, the blonde one was carrying a tray of food and my stomach gave an embarrassing loud grumble, I hadn't eaten since lunch. With a smile he placed the tray on the table and indicated for me to sit. I did and began to wolf down the bowl of soup and then wiped the edged down with the bread.
"So we should introduce ourselves, my name is Ryota Kise."
Said the blonde man, holding out his hand for me to shake.
"And this Daiki Aomine."
The dark skinned man also shook my hand and I stared hard at them. Sure enough a shimmer passed over them and I saw glimpses of talons and fangs on the both of them.
"You're both beast demons, lions?"
"Close, I'm a tiger and Aomine is a panther. Interesting, Midorimacchi said you could tell us apart from humans from sight this time."
I pushed the bowl away and looked into the pretty blondes eyes.
"This time? So you were around for my past lives as well?"
The exchanged a glance and Kise fiddled with the piercing on his ear opened his mouth and somehow I knew he was going to lie.
"Don't lie to me Kise, when you play with that you are preparing to lie."
Aomine threw his head back and roared with laughter as I frowned, how did I know that? Kise sighed and scratched his head.
"So you remember that about me? This is also new. In your past lives you could never see past a demons human disguise and never recalled anything except loving Akashi."
He pulled out a chair and sat down in front of me, his eyes serious.
"We have all been with Akashi since before he met you, well your first life, and have stayed by his side ever since."
"So, I don't know much about demons but your all different types, I didn't think they really got along?"
"Sure in the past there was a lot of fighting and clans tended to stay together, some are still like that but Akashicchi has stepped up and taken a few clans under his wings. In a way we were an experiment, he took a handful of us, all from different clans and showed that it is possible to coexist with each other. We decided to stay with him and here we are."
"So Akashi is some sort of big shot then?"
Aomine snorted and I glanced at him.
"Yea you could say that but he only did because of you. When we met you for the first time Akashi was just a simple crow but now he leads over fifty clans, all in an effort to save you and break your curse."
"Aomineicchi!"
Kise stood up and glared down at Aomine and the darker man simply shrugged his shoulders.
