Song: Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez
"Hey girl, look at my mom, she's got it going on, ha, you're blinded by her jewelry."

****
My mother yelled at me today.

She called me worthless, ungrateful, and she said that I'm a liar and that I never listen.

I tried to defend myself, I did, Grayson, but she told me to shut my fucking mouth.

I ran upstairs crying and from the balcony I could hear my mother say one last thing.

"Finally, she listened."

I cried even harder.

I wondered, what did I do to deserve this household? What did I do to deserve this and to be called horrible things by the one person who created me?

Times like these, I used to think of you and your smile.

But you know what?

I thought of him.

I thought of him coming and holding me and telling me that all those things aren't true.

You used to do those things, and you used to be my home.

He's my home, now.
