Chapter 18:

Jade's pov :

Today's testing was a lot easier for me because I am actually a really good reader, and I'm a pretty decent writer. It was a little awkward at first though, because of all the looks the new guys kept giving me. Some of them showed pity, while others showed interest, but I didn't mind to much as I soon lost myself in the reading and manged to forget about everything else that was going on around me. I had always enjoyed reading for this reason, because I found that by reading books I could escape reality for a while and just be someone else for a little bit. It was the same reason I enjoyed acting so much. I liked it because whenever I read or acted I was able to use my imagination to become those characters and for a little while I got to be somebody else. Someone who was better, and cooler, and stronger then me. Not that I didn't like the real me or anything, because I do. Its just sometimes it is nice to pretend to be some one else for a change. Someone who had less problems then me. Even if it was only for a little while. So naturally once I lost myself in my reading and writing process, It was like I was in my own little world. So I was actually really surprised when the teacher suddenly called time's up and asked us to finish up what we were working on and pass our tests in, before we went to lunch. I had no idea that so much time had passed already. So I quickly tied up my last sentence, and jotted down a quick conclusion before passing my paper forward to the guy in front of me. He was kind of tall and had reddish brown hair and a kind face. I remembered that he was in the first group of guys who had introduced themselves to us this morning. I think their group name was Astro or something... I only remembered that because when I was younger I played softball and our team was called the Astros. I thought to myself with a smile, uh anyway I think his group only had like 6 members in it and I remember that he had said that he was the youngest. But I couldn't remember his name off the top of my head.

Jade: Thanks... Uh... I'm sorry but uh I forgot you name. *I said shyly with a slight blush*

Sanha: Sanha. *he said politely with a small smile*

Jade: oh right Sanha, *I repeated eagerly* uh I need to remember that. *I mumbled to myself* uh Anyway, uh thanks Sanha. I am Jade by the way. *I said quickly as I introduced myself to him, while I gathered the rest of my belongings together.* uh It was good working with you or well next to you really.... and uh I hope that your test went well, and that you get good marks. *I said nicely being my usual kind self* Anyway, uh I will be going now, my friends are waiting on me. *I said shooting a glance towards the door to see my friends gathering there to wait for me* But uh I hope that you and your friends have a good lunch period and I guess I will see you guys back in class later. *I said with a smile as I gathered my stuff in my arms, already spotting the rest of the guys waiting for me over by the door. I was slightly aware that the other guys who were around us and had been in our group during the testing were watching our conversation with interest, as were some of the other guys in the class. My friends from Seventeen and Got7 were fidgeting impatiently as they waited for me by the door. But Jungkook was smiling proudly at me, encouraged by my determination to let my earlier conflict with the new guys go. Although admittedly that was really only with the one guy and he was from the other group. So it really wouldn't have been fair for me to take it out on the ASTRO guys anyway. But uh seriously I was over it and harbored no ill feelings towards either group of guys to be honest. So I just smiled at the rest of them as I stood up and made my way past the rest of the new guys, stopping briefly to greet the guys from IKON and Taehyun, as well as the Exo boys as I wished them a pleasant lunch break too and told them to enjoy themselves. For which they all thanked me and wished me the same, as they gathered their own things. I was happy that we were all on good terms now, but wanted to become closer to them in the future, like I was with the Got7 boys as well as the boys from Seventeen. But I knew we had plenty of time to get to know each other in the future, so I wasn't going to rush it. Anyway uh I quickly thanked them for their kind greetings and gave them all a quick bow of respect then made my way over to my friends.* Hey guys, what's up? Where is everybody eating today? *I asked them with a large smile, before turning to Jungkook.* Ooh, What are we going to do oppa? Can we eat with them? I want to eat with my friends again today Oppa. But I want you to come with us this time, since you missed out on all the fun last time. *I said with a smile as I instantly linked my arm with Jungkook's and began acting all cute so that he would agree to join us. To which he just smiled and rolled his eyes at me while all the other guys awww'd at my cut aeygo display. But I could tell that my sad attempt at aegyo had worked, because he sighed and patted my head.*
