Chapter 20:

~a week later~

(Jade's Pov)

Finally it's a week later and I am finally being released from my bed rest and allowed to return to school and I was so excited to see my friends again. I had heard that our class size had grown again, as SM had recently released an new boy group called NCT. But I was confused because appearently there were supposed to be different sub units of NCT, but so far the only 3 units that I had really heard about were NCT-U, NCT-127, and NCT-dream... and weirdly a lot of those members were in more then one unit. At least that is what BamBam, YoungJae, Yugyeom, had said when they and their members had stopped by for a visit. Both they and the Seventeen boys had come to see me a few times this week along with a couple of my other friends from class. Each time they visited me I got very happy because, I hadn't been to school for a full week which meant that I had missed 3 full days of school, well 2 and 1/2 since I technically only missed the afternoon session of the day that I was attacked, but still I had been stuck in the dorm for like 11 days straight now and so I was a little bored of being couped up, so I was actually pretty ready to get out of the dorm. Not because I didn't love my brother and the other members, nor was I annoyed by them really. In fact I had actually really enjoyed the past week I have spent with them, but well to be honest I felt like I was going to go stir crazy after being cooped up in here so long. Thankfully my friends were able to visit me couple of times during the past week, although due to their busy schedules and stuff they could only visit when they were off, so only a few members came to visit at a time. But still it was really nice and I was actually surprised at how many of my new friends actually came to visit me over the past week. Why even a couple of my super junior friends had stopped by to check up on me, as they were pretty worried about me once they heard what had happened. Apparently the BTS members had sent out a tweet expressing their discontent with the way I was treated by their crazy fan, and asked that their other fans be nicer to me in the future. This also helped to serve as an explanation as well, because photos soon surfaced on various social media sites of Jungkook and I. In the photo Jungkook was carrying me on his back as we were leaving the restaurant, while the rest of the of BTS members accompanied us, their was also a picture of them walking into the hospital with me. So they tweeted about what had happened to me as a way to inform their fans that they were alright, but then asked them to be nicer to me. So while I personally found the fact that I was harassed in front of my friends to be embarrassing enough, and was especially embarrassed when it was then broadcasted to the whole world. But at the same time I was amazed at the amount of support I received from The Boys fans as well. (A/N: the BTS boys fans are also known as ARMY, just as an FYI) Once the news story had broke, I was bombarded with tweets of support, and fans asking if I was alright. I was so encouraged and touched by the ARMY's messages of support for me, and by my friends visits and the boys constant concern for me, as well as the excellent care I had received from them that I couldn't help but smile. The guys did a good job of looking after me. They made sure that I got plenty of rest and that I followed the doctors orders to a T, to make sure that I recovered quickly. And to be honest, I didn't mind staying home with all of them this week as I have really enjoyed getting to know all the boys a little better. I was happy to have gotten the chance to spend so much quality time with them individually this week, and I was touched that each of the guys had taken a day off just to take care of me. So while the others would rehearse as normal, one of the guys would stay with me and help look after me, then in the evenings when they were all home, they would all take care of me as a unit with each person pulling their own weight and equally sharing the responsibility of looking after me. It was actually extremely sweet of them and so even though I had a great time with them this past week. I was really looking forward to going back to class and getting to see all of my friends again. As well as getting to meet my new classmates, and well  hopefully I'd get to know them all a little better. I had also heard from Vernon that one of my previous classmates from a group called MonstaX, had just returned from his group's world tour. His name was supposedly IM, although I was pretty sure that was only his stage name, and apparently he was supposed to be pretty cool. But of course I had never met him before, since he was on the tour when I joined the class. But well as his group was back from their tour now, and he had returned to school, I was sure I'd meet him soon enough. Actually because Vernon had spoken quite highly of him, I was really looking forward to meeting him as well. I sincerely hoped I would get along with him and the other new guys as well as the other two new groups as well, and that today would go better than the last time I had met them. I really wanted to make a good impression today so I woke up early and I took my time getting ready. Today I decided to wear a dress, for the first in a while. Because I was not much of a dress kind of girl, but I figured I would try it out today. So I started my morning out with a shower like usual, then pulled on my bathrobe before starting on my usual morning skin care routine. After washing my face really well, I made sure brush my teeth and dry my hair really well. Before heading out to my room to finish getting ready for school. When I got back into my room. I pulled out my makeup kit, hair brush, and bobby pins, as well as my hand held mirror and straightener. I then plugged in the straightener and let it heat up while I started on my makeup. I didn't do a whole lot as usual, I just applied some bb cream, and some light foundation, before starting on my eyes. For my eyes I applied a very faint layer of light gold eye shadow, some mascara and a little eyeliner. I also added some very natural looking, soft pink lipstick to my lips to finish off the look. Once my makeup was applied and I was satisfied with how it looked, I started on my hair. I began by straightening out my long dark brown locks with its natural reddish tinted highlights, which really stood out in my bed rooms lighting by the way. Then once my hair had been straightened I began pulling a few strands from the front and gathering them in to a half up due, then began arranging part of the gathered hair into a cute little bow and pinned it into place. (a/n: see pic for hair and makeup description) then once that was finished, I used my straightener (flat iron) to lightly curl the ends of my hair, before spraying it with hair spray to hold it in place. I then unplugged the flat iron (straightener) to let it cool as I pulled on my simple white strapless Aline dress which stopped just above my mid thigh and hugged my curves nicely without showing to much skin, and then I paired it with an army green jean jacket that had these cute silver buttons that vaguely resembled something you would see on a British military officers uniform. Then to finish the look off I added a few statement pieces of plastic jewelry that were the same silverish color of the buttons that were on my jacket, so they matched well and tied the whole outfit together. Then I grabbed a pair of light silver colored ballet flats from my closet that would look nice with the outfit, (see pic below for outfit and shoes as well as hair and makeup) but I didn't put them on right away, because I still had to eat breakfast and we weren't allowed to wear shoes in the house. So I just carried the slippers out to the living room along with my backpack and placed them both by the door, so that I could easily grab them on the way out. I then made my way into the kitchen to grab some breakfast.
