Jade's pov
Several hours later we landed in Sunny LA, at the always busy LAX airport and my heart instantly felt lighter, as the familiar sights and sounds filled me up with the kind of joyful bliss one only experiences when they return home after a long time. I mean I was so giddy that I practically skipped of the plane and up the terminal walkway. I mean sure I was still well aware that this trip did have its down side and that this reunion is not nearly as sweet as it should be because of my estrangement with my 4 best friends and my now ex-boyfriend, but still I had lots of other friends that I was looking forward to visiting with while I was here, and besides I was finally home. I was so excited to just be breathing the fresh Cali air, and feel the sun shine on my skin, and to hear the familiar hum of many people talking all at once in their native Cali tongue, although their were other accents and languages mixed in being that we were at one of the biggest airports in America, but still the thrill of being home and the sense of familiarity brought a sort of peace to me and I couldn't stop smiling as we made our way off the plane and over to our security detail, who were once again going to escort us to Baggage claim and then to our car for safety reasons. So in-spite of my mounting anxiety due to being forced to face the fans again as I tried to maneuver my way through the crowd, I couldn't stop smiling. I mean I was practically dancing with joy, which the boys seemed happy about. I was so eager to show the boys around and let them see what my life was like here, and even though I know that, That was not what this trip we're supposed to be about, I still hope that I would get some time to show them around, and introduce them to at least a few of my friends while we were here. There was also a lot of places I wanted to show the guys, like my old house and school, and the church I grew up and some of my frequent hunts that I would go hangout at with my friends in the past, but the thing I most wanted to do was take the boys to meet my mom... well her ashes anyway. I was eager to introduce them to her and I really wanted them to meet her as well. Sadly because I know that the boys have a pretty busy schedule over the next few days because of Kcon so it would probably have to wait till it is over, but I do hope that we will have time to visit before we have to leave for the American leg of the tour. Anyway as I was saying we all exited the plane and met with our security detail and then we continued on to the baggage claim area were we waited for a few minutes for our bags to arrive. Meanwhile the 100 or so fans who had gathered their to wait for us all snapped as many pictures of us as possible. The boys politely acknowledged them and posed for a few photographs and waved at them kindly while giving their fans affectionate smiles and bowing to them slightly in way of greeting them. The fans were all so nice, they kindly bowed back, while waving and cheering, and then to my surprise the boys actually called me over to them and had me pose with them, despite me being well pretty much a nobody, because a few of the fans were requesting that they take a picture with me and so I stood beside my brother with Jhope on my other side and awkwardly posed with the guys and again the fans cameras went crazy. After we all posed together for a moment and gave the fans enough time to get their pictures, we all bowed and waved goodbye, and then we all turned our attention back to the carousel to await our bags, while trying our best to ignore the fans  continued scrams and constant questions, and while we waited I visited with My brother and Jhope as I listened to the converse about how they thought the flight went and catch each other up on what they did to pass the time. Meanwhile just a few few away the Maknae line stood talking amongst themselves about all the different foods they wanted to try while they were here, and then just a few feet away on the opposite side stood Rapmon and Jin along with their Manager who was giving them a run down of their schedule for the event as well as their activities for the rest of the day. So I tried to listen in to see when they might get some free time for me to show them around and stuff and as it turns out as soon as we finish here we pretty much had to head straight to the hotel and check in and then as soon as we were settled, we would have to head Straight down to the conference room because apparently there was kind of kick off party/panel type thing where we were supposed to meet the other artist and several YouTubers who specialize in kpop related videos as well as Some of the local media personalities and papers/magazine editors and writers so that they can have it sort of impromptu interview style mini conference Things before Kcon officially kicks off tomorrow. Although I guessed that this event was more for them then it was for me, so it was really them who had to attend it not me, but I was sure that they would try to drag me along, seeing as they are Far too overprotective of me to leave me sitting in a hotel room in LA all by myself, as well to them this is a foreign country and they were probably worried about me getting myself into trouble if they left me in the room alone. So of course I would need to attend this whole Soirée kick off event thing with them. However I was happy to hear that after their afternoon of interviews and the welcome dinner which was supposedly being sponsored by the event coordinators and was being held a pretty exclusive French restaurant, which they had apparently rented out for the event so that their idols could eat in peace, that the boys would be free for the rest of the evening once the dinner finished tonight so maybe I could talk them into coming with me to see my mother then, if they weren't to tired, I decided to ask just in so I waited patiently for my brother and Jhope to stop talking and then politely excused myself for butting into their conversation and then shyly asked me brother my question.
