Chapter: 8

(During the movie)

Jade's POV

One of the reasons the guys had picked this movie, was because I had seen it so many times I could practically quote it. So even if I did get lost in the Korean dialogue and I couldn't keep up with the subtitles, I would still know what was going on. I loved action movies as the guys very well knew, because I had told them so the first night that we met during our game of 20 questions, and the transformer series was one of my all time favorites. So I had really been looking forward to this whole movie night thing. I could tell that the guys had too, because even though we had all just ate they had made sure to set up snack bowls around the living room filled with popcorn and different types of candies, you know all those traditional movie type snacks, just incase someone got hungry, or wanted a snack. The guys all seemed excited too, and I knew that even though this movie night was supposed to be fun. I could tell that they also hoped I would learn a little bit of Korean from watching the movie too, and well I was kind of hoping I would as well. I mean sure I thought it would be cool to see one of the my favorite movies in a different language, But I also wanted to learn a little something too. I mean I was kind of tired of always having to depend on Rapmon to translate for me whenever I wanted to say something to one of the other guys and I felt bad watching the guys struggle with their English just so they could speak to me too. Even if it was only just for a few sentences. But well unfortunately, because this was one of my favorite movies it didn't take too long for me to get totally lost in the movie itself, and well I kinda forgot all about trying to focusing on the particular words that I was hearing and trying to match them to their English equivalent. As I was far to busy throughly enjoying the movie, so somewhere in the back of my mind, a part of my brain kept up a running dialogue as it subconsciously quoted the familiar movie. But the graphics were all so much better on the guys big screen tv, and some how the action and fight scenes seemed even more intense due to their surround sound. So as we transitioned into the final battle scene I found myself sitting up suddenly from my previous lying position and leaning forward. I felt as though I were on the edge of my seat, and my eyes were glued to the tv in anticipation. I had long since gotten used to the voice over actors voices, who had been hired to translate the original actors voices from English into Korean. Although it was kind of interesting hearing the Korean Optimus Prime, and comparing it to the Voice of Peter Cullen like I was used to. Anyway we were about 20 minutes away from finishing the movie and we were right in the middle of the big battle scene, when there was a knock on the door that caused me to nearly jump out of my skin. Which I guess was amusing because when the guys saw me they all burst out laughing as Jimin quickly paused the movie and Jungkook went over to answer the door. I was of course blushing slightly out of embarrassment as the door swung open, revealing the light from the hallway. I then heard Jungkook greet whoever it was at the door in Korean then listened as he got a reply back from at least 3 other guys. So I was kind of confused as to who would be stopping by so late. I mean sure it wasn't terribly late or anything, but well it was after 9 pm on a school night. Anyway after a moment I heard Jungkook say something else in Korean and then it sound like he let whoever it was that was outside the door into the dorm. Only it now sounded like a lot more than 3 people were entering the dorm at the moment. There was the sound of scuffling feet and heavy boots/shoes hitting the floor and then as if on cue, Jin quickly turned on the lights, making all of us squint and groan at the sudden light, just as Jungkook led the guys from Super Junior into the living room. Only there were quite a few more guys with them this time around, then there had been when I had met them earlier. There had only been like 7 or 8 guys down at the pool earlier but now there were 14 or 15 of them. Although I had spotted a few of the guys I had met this afternoon, among them though so I smiled at them. Dang how big is their group? I thought to myself as I pulled myself up off the ground and went over to greet them my eyes instantly latching on Siwon, since he is the one that I knew the best. Seeing as he was the only one who really spoke enough English for me to have a conversation with him and well because he had been my translator all afternoon when I had hung out with the guys earlier. So he was the one with whom I had the most contact with.
