I was sitting on the jet, next to Derek, and I could see Hotch getting annoyed by Gideon's constant lectures. It had been a few months since our 'incident' and he refused to be in a room alone with me for more than a few minutes. I sighed and stood up, saying to Derek,

"I'll be right back." He nodded and I went sit across from Hotch, asking,

"How's Jack?" He looked up at me, briefly, and answered, quietly,

"He's good." I tilted my head and said,

"Okay. I have a request then."

"Mm-Hmm."

"I want to be paired up with you on this case." I said, catching his attention. He looked at me and said,

"What? No." I sighed and leaned forward, saying,

"I've been staying out of your way and trying not to go over your head, but let me make one thing clear to you. I am above you. It's not a question of whether you want to or not. You do as I say. Am I clear?" He looked at me wide eyed and stayed quiet, until I repeated,

"Am I clear, Agent Hotchner?" He looked away from me and sighed, saying lowly,

"Crystal clear." I smiled and nodded, saying,

"Good. We're going to land in a few minutes, let's go over the case." He didn't look at me and he didn't say anything, but he nodded. I stood up and went sit next to Morgan. We reviewed the case and Hotch said,

"Okay. Gideon, you and Reid go to the M.E. Morgan, you and JJ go to the crime scene. (Y/N) and I will get set up at the police station." Everyone nodded and Hotch touched my arm, whispering,

"Can we talk when we get to the hotel?" I looked up at him and nodded.

Time Skip to the Police Station

We walked into the station and Hotch introduced us to the sheriff. We set up the white board and Hotch started to build a profile, while I sat at the table in the middle of the room bouncing ideas back to him. Eventually, he stopped and said,

"(Y/N), do you have feelings for me?" I looked at him, wide eyed, and said,

"What're you talking about?" I was standing up and he sighed, saying,

"Never mind. We'll talk later." I grabbed his shoulder and said,

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You started this conversation. Where in the hell did that come from, Aaron?"

"It's nothing. I was just thinking, that's all. We can talk about this later." He shook my hand off his shoulder and he focused on the profile. When everyone got back, Morgan kissed my cheek and handed me a coffee. I could hear Hotch grinding his teeth and I looked at him, briefly. Gideon sighed and said,

"We have to wait until he makes a mistake." I sighed and looked at the ground, saying,

"We have to wait until he kills more people." It was getting late and everyone had gone to the hotel, except from me and Hotch. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, saying,

"Let's head to the hotel. There's nothing more that we can do." I ran a hand through my hair and nodded, following him out to the SUV. As you pulled up to the hotel, you noticed that Morgan was down stairs and he was waiting on you. When he saw you, he sighed and said,

"(Y/N). They wouldn't let me have the room for two because you weren't here. You and Hotch have to share the double bed hotel room." I looked at Hotch and he shrugged, saying,

"That's fine by me." I nodded and kissed Derek's cheek, saying,

"I'm sorry I stayed behind." He looked at me and said,

"It's fine, baby." Hotch and I got our key and we went to the bedroom, quietly. Derek kissed me good night and he walked off, leaving me alone with Aaron Hotchner. We walked into the room and he closed the door, saying,

"Okay. We can talk now." I looked at him and questioned,

"What do you wanna talk about, Aaron?" His eyes dilated, slightly, and he said,

"Us."

"Us?"

"What exactly are we, (Y/N)?"

"Colleagues." He growled and pinned me to one of the walls, saying,

"No! Th-That's not true! There's something more! What are we?!?" I gasped and placed my hands on his chest, saying,

"A-Aaron...I-I can't do this. You know that." He took off his tie and kissed down my jawline to my neck, saying against my skin,

"What are we?"

"We are nothing because you are married." I said, making him stop. He sighed and looked at the ground, saying,

"You're right. I'm sorry I have no idea what got over me." I scanned him and noticed his blush, concentrated face, and then it hit me. I stood up straighter and said,

"I get it now." He looked at me, confused, and asked,

"Get what? What are you talking about?" I smirked and poked him in his chest, saying,

"You're horny." His eyes widened and his ears turned red, as he said,

"No! I-I am not!" I leaned into him and my hand brushed against a bump in his pants, causing him to groan.

"Hm-Mmm. Everyone's body always does tell the truth compared to words." I said, making him sit on his bed and stay there, while I sat across from him on my bed. His blush darkened and he mumbled,

"That's not true."

"Like that."

"Shut up." He growled, keeping his gaze away from me. I sighed and went take a shower, without another word.

Time Skip to the next Morning

I was getting dressed and Hotch had already left when there was a knock on the door. I opened the door, holstering my gun, and Derek looked at me, saying,

"Hey. Another body turned up. Also, I think we should break up."

"Morning to you to. Also, Why?" I replied, trying to pretend to be hurt by this news. He sighed and said,

"You're clearly still in love with Hotch. I don't wanna get in the way of that." I smiled at him and said,

"Okay. That's reasonable." He nodded and we walked to one of the SUVs. We drove to the station and he said,

"Let's catch a murderer."
