Waking up, I noticed Aaron wasn't laying next to me and I smelled pancakes. 

"Dad?" 

"Yeah, Buddy?" 

"Can I go wake (Y/N) up?"

"Uh...Yeah. It's almost time to get ready for the zoo. I'll come with you. Remember to be careful." I heard my room door open and the weight in my bed shifted, making me smirk slightly. When Jack was close, I flipped over and tickled him, saying,

"Good morning!" He started laughing and I stopped, so that I could catch my breath. Jack caught his breath too and Aaron touched my arm, asking,

"Are you okay?" I nodded and held my side, saying,

"I just need to catch my breath, Aaron. You go and get ready for the zoo, I'm gonna go take a shower." He nodded and looked at Jack, saying,

"Alright. Let's go get changed." Jack nodded and looked at me, saying,

"Good morning, (Y/N)!" Sighing, I smiled and Aaron looked back at me, mouthing,

"I love you." I smiled and got out of bed, grabbing a change of clothes. Turning on the water, I leaned against my sink and looked into the mirror, running a hand through my hair. When I finished taking my shower, I walked back into my room in a pair of jeans and a (f/c) blouse. Walking out of my room, I saw Jack sitting at my dining room table, coloring, and I smiled. A pair of arms wrapped around my waist and kissed my neck, saying softly,

"You're gorgeous, you know." Shaking my head, I turned towards him and said,

"What about the zoo?" He sighed and pulled away from me, saying,

"Can we talk to Jack first?" Looking at him, I raised a brow and asked, softly,

"We?" He looked at Jack and whispered,

"I want you next to me when I tell him that I won't be around as much." Nodding, I held his hand and said,

"Anything." Going sit with Jack, Aaron sighed and said,

"Hey, Buddy." Jack looked up at Aaron and said,

"Hi!" I stood behind him and massaged his shoulders, as he continued,

"Buddy, after this weekend...I'm not gonna be around as often." Jack looked confused and he tilted his head, asking,

"Why not?" Aaron held one of my hands and looked at Jack, saying,

"Because I have to work cases and I have to help people, Buddy. But when I am around-"

"Can (Y/N) be around too?" Jack interrupted him, shocking me and making Aaron smile, as he continued,

"Yeah, Buddy. I mean...that is if she wants to." Jack looked at me and asked,

"Do you want to be around?" Smiling at Aaron's son, I nodded and replied,

"Yeah. I'd like that." Jack smiled at me and Aaron ruffled his hair, saying,

"All right, but you know when we are around. We will do something fun. Anything you wanna do, Buddy. And I want you to know, that even though I'm not going to be around as much...I still love you, very much." Jack stood up and hugged Aaron, saying,

"I love you too." Smiling at the show of affection, Jack pulled away from his father and hugged me, asking,

"Are you going to help people with him?" Nodding, I moved his bangs out of his face and said, 

"Yes, I am." Aaron stood up and smiled, saying,

"Okay. Now, to the zoo. Right?" Jack pulled away from me and smiled at Aaron, saying,
