Walking into the amusement park, I had Jack on my shoulders and (Y/N) was walking next to me, holding my hand. She was gorgeous and Jack was excited about being able to spend time with us. He loved (Y/N) and she loved him.
"Jack, what do you wanna ride first?" (Y/N) asked, looking up at him and Jack leaned over, making me worry. However, I calmed down when (Y/N) reached up and took him off of my shoulders, placing him on the ground. She held his hand and he ran over to the merry-go-round, making me smile.
After riding for a little while, Jack was sleeping and (Y/N) was holding him, cradling his head. A photographer stopped us and asked,
"Excuse me? Would you like to get a picture of your family? I know the boy is asleep, but it would really be a sweet moment to catch." I looked down at (Y/N) and she looked about ready to crash too, so I declined. The drive home was quiet and (Y/N) was breathing softly. Not sleeping yet, but really close. When we got home, (Y/N) carried Jack into the guest bedroom and tucked him in, I was watching from the doorway.
"He should be out for the rest of the night." She whispered, closing his door quietly and walking to the kitchen. Following after her, I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her neck, replying,
"Good." She sighed and turned around in my arms, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Aaron, I'm exhausted. I'm just ready to go shower and go to bed." She started, making me pout and I sighed, nodding.
Reader's Point of View
A few hours later, Aaron and I were asleep, but I heard little footsteps out in the living room. Wiggling out of Aaron's arms, I tip-toe into the room and saw Jack looking around, confused.
"Is there something you need, sweetie?" I asked, in a sleepy voice and he rubbed his eyes, replying,
"Oh, (Y/N). Can I get a glass of water?"
"Of course." I hummed, fixing him some water and sitting at the island.
"I'm sorry if I woke you up." He started, drinking the water and placing the glass on the counter.
"You didn't. Why'd you wake up?" I responded and he blushed, stuttering,
"Well...um...I-I.."
"Did you have a nightmare?" I asked, making his face heat up and I smiled, offering,
"You can come sleep with us if you want to, Jack."
"Could I really?!?" He exclaimed, excitedly. Giggling, I shush him and whispered,
"Yes, but be quiet. Daddy is still sleeping."
"Okay." He whispered back, following me back to our room and he got between us, snuggling with me.
Aaron's Point of View
Groaning, I opened my eyes and saw the back of Jack's head, getting curious. Sitting up, I looked at them and seeing how he clung to her, my heart clenched.
'I love her.'
