Reader's Point of View
Aaron was holding my hand and Susan was leading us to the backyard. There was a huge garden and enough cover for us to be out of sight. Joshua took my weapon off of me, but Susan didn't take Aaron's weapons off of him.
'This is what we expected. They expect me to be rash and straight forward with my aggression. Susan doesn't expect Aaron to turn on her because she is actually delusional enough to think he loves her.'
Aaron had both his guns on him and we were waiting now.
"So, Aaron. . .I want you to watch this." Susan started, confusing us both, but soon we both understood. Joshua pulled me back by my hair and I grunted, as I hit the ground hard. When Aaron went to rush to my side, Susan held a gun to me and said,
"I wouldn't do that, Aaron. Come stand next to me, love." Aaron hesitated, eyes meeting mine and I panted, telling him in a hoarse voice,
"It's okay, Aaron." He walked over to Susan and Joshua's foot made contact with my chest, knocking the wind out of me.

I was forced to watch Joshua beat (Y/N) for almost ten minutes, before I heard Morgan's voice,
"FBI! Don't move!" Joshua turned around and I grabbed the gun from Susan, pointing it at the man. Susan hesitated and then took off. (Y/N) got up and grabbed one of my guns, taking off after Susan.
"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!!" I yelled, watching her and huffing,
"Damnit!"
"I got her, Hotch." Emily called, following after her and I nodded, turning my attention back to Joshua.

Following after Susan, I kept my sights up and I heard footsteps behind me.
"Call out!" I called behind me, waiting on a response from one of my coworkers and feeling relief when I heard Emily call back,
"I'm here!"
Looking around, I tried to see Susan and when I rounded a corner, she hit me in the face. When she tried to take my gun from me, I headbutted her and sent her flying backwards, saying,
"Don't move." She laughed and got back up, trying to fight me. Emily rounded the corner next, trying to get a clear shot and groaning,
"I can't get a shot!"
I still had my gun in my hand and I pistol whipped her, holding the gun to her head. There was a wound on her face now and she panted,
"You may put me in jail, now. . .But I'll have him eventually because, you'll be dead." She tried to stab me and hit me in the side, chuckling. Pulling the trigger, I huffed and Emily came over to me, helping me up.

Hearing a gun shot, I panicked and turned to where Emily and (Y/N) disappeared. Joshua was in cuffs with Derek and he smirked, saying,
"Think your girlie got what was coming to her." Frowning, I clenched my fist and spun around, my fist connecting with his jaw.
"Hotch!" Emily called, catching my attention and I turned, seeing her with (Y/N). Running over to (Y/N), I saw blood and panicked, but (Y/N) pulled me into a kiss. Her arms were around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist, picking her up a little. She winced, pulling away, and I looked down at her side, asking,
"She stabbed you?"
"She barely grazed me. We're gonna need to get the coroner out here."
"You shot her?"
"She stabbed me."
Looking at her, I rested my forehead against her own and whispered,
"Let's get you checked out by the paramedics."
As we were passing through the house, a voice called out to us, making us stop,
"Aaron, (Y/N)!"
Turning, it was Sam and Tom, looking at us. Confusion written all over their faces as they looked at us. Two agents who've been their neighbors for damn near a month and they didn't know.
"Hey, guys." (Y/N) replied, holding her hand on her wound and smiling, softly.
"What happened here? Who are you guys?" Holding my hand out to them, I smiled and replied,
"I'm SSA Aaron Hotchner, BAU Unit Chief." (Y/N) leaned into me and said,
"I'm SSA (F/N) (L/N), I'm his boss."
"FBI agents?" Tom asked, pausing and then he smiled, exclaiming,
"That's bitching!"
"You aren't mad?" I asked, raising a brow and Sam replied,
"You were just doing your jobs, right?"
"Right." (Y/N) replied, her breathing becoming shallow.
"Fuck." I muttered, grabbing her injury and picking her up, bridal style. Getting her to the ambulance, I laid her on the gurney and the paramedic asked,
"She got stabbed?"
"Yes. It isn't deep, but she's been through a trauma." The paramedic nodded and looked her over, closing up the wound. I was right, it wasn't deep, but the doctors at the hospital insisted we stay for two days.
Tom and Sam came to visit us and the team did as well. The day we were meant to leave, Tom and Sam helped us pack and Tom pulled (Y/N) aside, talking to her softly.
"You need to marry that woman." Sam told me, softly, catching my attention and chucking at the red on my face, as I responded,
"I plan to."
We left that day and on our way back, the team had a relief about them. (Y/N) and I were sitting together, naturally. She was doing some paperwork and I was trying to get her to relax. Things were back to normal and I thought back to what Sam told me,
'You need to marry that woman.'
"(Y/N). . ."
"Aaron, I really need to-"
"Marry me."
"!! What?"
"Will you marry me?"
