Aaron's Point of View

Walking into the hospital, I looked at Reid and Morgan, asking,

"What happened?!? Where is she?!?" Morgan looked at me and replied,

"She's in surgery. Her stitches didn't come undone, she was bleeding internally. Apparently, her wounds were more severe than they thought." I rubbed my face and fought tears, asking,

"Internally?" Reid nodded and looked up at me, from the book he was reading. Pacing, slightly, I punched a wall and said,

"Damn it!"

"Hotch, we have to stay calm." Morgan said, standing in front of me and trying to calm me down. I exhaled a shaky breath and scoffed, asking,

"Bleeding internally...How the fuck could they have missed that?!" I heard Garcia say, from behind me,

"It's bad, isn't it?" Looking back at her, I sighed and sat down, putting my head in my hands.

"Yeah, Baby Girl. It's bad." Morgan answered, softly. Looking up, I saw JJ and she looked upset, asking,

"What happened?" Morgan explained to her what happened and I sighed, shaking my head. Looking around, I noticed that the entire team was there, minus one.

"Where's Gideon?" I asked, looking at Reid and he looked up from his book, answering,

"Good question." Nodding, I looked away from them and back down to the floor, sighing. I stood up and started, pacing. Garcia came sit next to me and she looked at me, saying,

"Sir?" Looking up at her, I stayed quiet and she went to say something, but stopped.

"What is it, Garcia?" I asked, quietly. She put a hand on my shoulder and replied,

"She's gonna be fine, Hotch. She's a fighter." Smiling, softly, I nodded and said, softly,

"I know. Thank you, Garcia." She held my hand and I took a shaky breath, a tear rolling down my cheek. Morgan sat on the other side of me and stayed quiet. After sitting for about an hour, Erin walked into the waiting room and I sat up.

"Hello, everyone." She said, looking directly at everyone and keeping her gaze on me. Standing up, I walked past her and to the nurses station, asking,

"Excuse me? Do you have any information on a patient?" One of the male nurses looked at me and sat at the computer, asking,

"Patient name?"

"(L/N), (F/N)." I said, running a hand through my hair and sighing. Typing on the computer, he looked over the files and stated,

"Uhh...Well, looks like she's in surgery right now." I nodded and asked,

"Is there any word on her?" Shaking his head, he looked up at me and responded,

"Sorry, sir." Sighing, I nodded and said,

"All right. What about her personal belongings?" He shook his head and replied,

"Not until she comes out of surgery, sir." Smiling, slightly, I nodded and responded,

"Thank you, anyway." Walking back into the waiting room, I looked at everyone and glared at Erin, sitting down. Another hour passed by and I was pacing the room, becoming more worried by the second. A few minutes later, a doctor came into the room and asked,

"(F/N) (L/N)?" I looked at him and the rest of the team, were anxious.

"She had a lot of internal bleeding. We found the bleeder and we cauterized it. She'll need to stay away from work for a while." He said, explaining the surgery and how her recovery was gonna have to be.
