(Y/N) and I put what we brought where it belonged.

"Aaron, (Y/N)!" A voice called, making us turn and relax when Samuel approached us. Thomas was with him and he raised a brow at the bottle of Patron in (Y/N)'s hand, commenting,

"Girl, that's my type of drink."

"Aaron actually picked this out." (Y/N) replied, looking over to me and our eyes met, making me smile softly.

"Well, he can either read minds or he is my husband in another life."

"Heh. We'll just go with the mind reader one. I'm pretty sure even in another life. . .I'd marry (Y/N)." I replied, our eyes never leaving one another's.

"Are you two newly weds?" Samuel asked, chuckling and making me look at him, smiling.

"Hardly. We've been together for the better part of two years."

Samuel smiled and nodded in understanding, looking over at Thomas. He glared when he saw that he was opening the bottle, quickly.

"What? They brought it for everyone." Thomas argued, making Samuel sigh and shake his head. In many ways, their relationship was like our own and (Y/N) was thinking the same thing. (Y/N), being a social butterfly, bounced around the party and keeping up with her was hard. After an hour of not seeing Susan, I leaned over to (Y/N) and asked,

"Want a drink?" She looked at me and smiled, replying

"Please." As I went to turn away, she grabbed my wrist and asked,

"Kiss?"

Smiling, I leaned down and pressed a kiss to her mouth, happily. When I walked away, she mouthed,

'I love you.'

Nodding, I left and went to the drink table, fixing her a (favorite drink). I poured myself a scotch and coke, staying at the table long enough to catch our neighbor's attention.

"Aaron, you seem out of your element." Samuel said, laughing and I sighed, replying,

"I honestly am, Samuel."

"Please just call me Sam. Your wife and Tom seem to be the social butterflies of our relationships." Chuckling, I nodded and agreed,

"That couldn't be more true." A few minutes later, (Y/N) came to find me and when our eyes met, the panic on her face left. She walked over and took the drink, whispering,

"She's here. Her partner wasn't with her. You scared the fuck outta me." I placed a hand on the small of her back and Tom walked over, slurring,

"Damn girl. You move faster than I thought. We gotta go dance, you guys look too good not to dance. You too, honey love. We gotta dance!"

Sam sighed and replied,

"We should get you home."

"But babeeeeee! I just wanna dance with my new neighbors and my amazing husband." Tom whined, making Sam blush and making us chuckle. One of (Y/N)'s hands came to rest on my chest and Sam compromised,

"If we come dance for a little while. Will you let me take you home?" Tom nodded and looked at us, making me sigh. Looking down at (Y/N), she smiled and pulled me onto what would be considered the dance floor. The music had a dangerous beat to it and the way her hips swung made my heart skip a beat.

After what seemed like an eternity of dancing, (Y/N) and I went back over to the refreshment table and Sam was there with Tom. They were telling everyone goodbye and when Tom saw us, he smiled shouting,

"We'll have to get together again! You guys are fun!" Sam looked over at us and mouthed,

'I'm sorry.' We both laughed and nodded, in understanding.  When they left, my phone rang and it was Dave, making me worry a little.

"Hello?"

"Hey, just letting you know. We're in Arizona."

"Joe said you guys wouldn't get here until tomorrow."

"We may have rushed it, when Garcia told us about Susan at the store. She insisted on coming with us by the way and she said she's going stay with you guys."

"Of course she is. Text me when you guys wake up tomorrow morning."

"Of course. You guys be careful. Also, we're going to be your patrol from now on.

"Thanks, Dave."

With that we hung up and (Y/N) raised a brow, so I told her.

"Hello, Aaron." Susan Marshall's voice made my blood freeze and I pulled (Y/N) to my side, an iron grip on her waist.

"Oh, please. Don't be so tense. I would never try to acquire you in front of all of our neighbors, Aaron."

"Acquire. . .Like, he's some sort of prize and not a human." (Y/N) all but growled, her grip on me tightening.

"Oh, but he is a prize to be won. He's my prize. Just because he uses you as his slut now, doesn't mean he loves you. He loves me."

"You think he loves you?"

"(Y/N)." I tried to warn, but she continued,

"You wouldn't know love if it back handed you. And you know what that feels like. Your husband hit you enough to engrain that in your memory. But love? Oh no. . .You have no idea what that feels like because your husband used you as his own personal slut when he wanted you. Don't go using a word you could never understand." Susan glared at (Y/N) and (Y/N) glared back, a silent battle happening between them. Susan looked at me and informed me,

"Don't worry, my love. I'll be getting rid of our problem soon enough."

". . ."

"I wish you would try it." (Y/N) growled, pulling me away with her and when we were far enough away, I picked her up. Running all the way back to our house. It wasn't far, but when we got there, I sighed.

"We've only been here one week."

"Maybe we'll be able to wrap this up quicker than I thought."

"I doubt it. She'll want to toy with us first."

"Right."

When we walked inside, Morgan and Garcia were there and they both looked just as worried as us.
