I woke up the next day to the sound of soft snoring. Blinking, I cleared my vision and looked down at Aaron. His arms were around my waist and his head was resting on my bare chest. I couldn't help but sigh at the softness of his features as he slept.
"I'd appreciate it if you'd stop breathing so heavily, it's disrupting my wonderful dreams." Aaron grumbled, sleep lacing his voice and I glared down at him, replying,
"Quit spooning me and you wouldn't have those problems." His eyes remained closed and he chuckled, softly. Rolling my eyes, I lacing my fingers through his black hair and he moved his face to my neck, sighing,
"But you're so comfortable."
"And you're annoyingly cute when you're tired."
"Hm. You were pretty tired last night, it was hot."
"Shut up."
"What? It's the truth."
"Truth or no, you're annoying me." We argued, light-heartedly and he sat up, looking down at me.
"Go make me pancakes." I ordered, almost kicked him out of bed and making him chuckle.
"Oh, Jack is coming over today." He informed me, pulling on a pair of black sweatpants and a FBI t-shirt.
"When?"
"Around 9:30."
"Okay. Now, off to make pancakes."
"Yes, M'Lady."
He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to my temple and straightened himself back up, walking to the kitchen. Smiling, I grabbed a changed of clothes and went go take a shower. When I was finished, I walked back into our room and could smell the pancakes. Walking into the kitchen, I wrapped my arms (tried to) around Aaron's waist and hummed,
"I love your pancakes." Chuckling, he turned around and I moved my arms to around his neck, his arms wrapping around my waist as he replied,
"You know you could've just been my breakfast."
"Aaron!"
"What?"
"We have to be child friendly today."
"I will be."
Leaning down, he pressed his mouth to my own and laced his fingers through my hair, massaging my scalp. I couldn't stop the moan that escaped my mouth and Aaron chuckled, pulling away from me.
"You piss me off, Aaron." I growled, sighing and looking into his eyes. Those eyes...They were just so captivating.
"Aaron..."
"I should have married you back then."
"Don't do that to yourself."
"I should have though. Then, Jack could've been..."
"Aaron, stop."
"(Y/N)-"
A knock on my front door interrupted him and I went answer the front door, Haley was on the other side.
"Hey there, Jack." I smiled down at the young boy and Haley looked past me, I could only assume at Aaron.
"Hi (Y/N)!" Jack greeted, hugging me around my neck and squealing as I spun him around, resting him on my hip. I was facing Aaron and the way his features softened was...amazing. Placing Jack onto the ground, I whispered,
"Go get daddy." The little boy giggled and ran directly into his father's arms. Turning back to Haley, I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and said, softly,
"We'll probably go to town today and tomorrow we can bring him to you." She looked at Aaron and replied,
"I wanna talk to Aaron."
"Haley, it's like (Y/N) said. We'll see you tomorrow." Aaron said, from behind me and he made me jump, at his sudden presence behind me. His hand was on my lower back and I could hear Jack playing behind us, as Haley nodded. Aaron closed the door and I looked back at him, running a hand through my hair.
"What you doing, buddy?" Aaron called out to Jack, walking into the living room and upon hearing Jack reply,
"Playing. Where's (Y/N)?" Going into the living room, I crouched down next to him and hummed, greeting,
"Hey there, buddy."
"Hey, (Y/N)!"
"So, what are we gonna be doing today?" I asked him, ruffling his hair and looking down into his eyes. I could feel Aaron's eyes on us and I could only imagine what was going through his head.
Aaron's Point of View
Looking down at my girlfriend and son, I smiled and could feel myself beaming, with pride. She didn't have to interact with him and she certainly didn't have to welcome him into her home, yet...she did just that. As if he were her own.
"I don't know. What do you wanna do?" He asked, looking at her and then at me, tilting his head to the side.
"Well, we could go to the movies, the mall, or we could stay here and do something. Oh! I know. There is an amusement park in town." (Y/N) suggested, keeping her gaze on him and I noticed the gaze...It was a maternal one.
"Dad! Could we go to the amusement park?" Jack asked, excitement filling his voice and I chuckled, nodding.
"Of course, Buddy. Just let (Y/N) and I get dressed." I replied, walking into the kitchen and cleaning up. I could hear Jack playing and (Y/N)'s soft footsteps going into our room. I could hear her rummaging around our room and after a moment, her humming. Chuckling, I walked back into the living room and Jack looked up at me, asking,
"Will (Y/N) be my second mommy?" The question shook me to the core and I looked down at him, stuttering,
"I-I...uhhh..."
"Aaron." (Y/N)'s voice called from our doorway, I could hear her gentle footsteps and I responded,
"What's up?"
"You can go change now." She replied, coming into the living room and sitting on the couch. Nodding, I kissed her forehead and went change into a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt, and tennis shoes. As, I came back into the living room, (Y/N) was playing with Jack and she looked up at me, then to Jack asking us,
"Ready?"
"Yeah!"
