"How are you feeling?" Aaron asked, looking at me with concern. Shaking my head, I looked around my room and replied,

"I'm feeling great, expect for the fact that my room is a mess." He sighed and shook his head, saying,

"You misunderstand." He paused and moved my blankets next to my hip, showing bruises, continuing,

"How are you feeling?" Sighing, I covered my hip and replied,

"I'm fine, Aaron." Kissing me, softly, he caressed my face and I pulled away, saying,

"Aaron...stop. You're hurting and you need-"

"I need you. Right now. Don't do this (Y/N)." Aaron interrupted, holding my hand and kissing me, again. Today was the start of our weekend off and he seemed to know how he wanted to spend it. He pulled me as close as I could get and ran a hand down my side, making me moan softly.

His phone went off and he pulled away, sighing. He looked at his phone and said, relieved,

"It's just Morgan. He wants to know if we still have our weekend off." Looking at him, I smiled and asked,

"Do we?" He put his phone on the night stand and lifted my chin, saying,

"They'll have to drag me into the Bureau to make me go into work." Giggling, I pecked him on the lips and held my blankets to my chest, as I walked to the bathroom, saying,

"I'm taking a shower." He stood up and said,

"I'm coming with you." Chuckling, I shook my head and replied,

"No, I need to shower. You stopped me from taking a shower last night." He pushed me against the wall and demanded,

"It wasn't a question, Agent." He picked me up and I blushed, shouting,

"A-AARON!?!"

Time Skip to after the Shower

"I hate you sometimes, Hotchner." I grumbled, limping out of my bathroom and getting dressed. He smiled and got dressed too, countering,

"You seemed to be enjoying yourself a while ago~" Blushing, I glared at him and walked out of my room, staying quiet. Following behind me, he grabbed my hand and asked, worried,

"I didn't hurt you, did I?" I looked back at him and he had a frown on his face, but this one was of sadness and he was truly worried. I turned to him and kissed him, softly. I felt something warm and wet touch my face. I pulled away from him and he had tears running down his cheeks, slowly.

"Aaron..." I said, softly, cupping his cheeks and rubbing the tears away, with my thumbs. He cupped my hand over his cheek and asked, softly,

"Why did you let me stay here? I'm not good at commitment." I shook my head and replied,

"I'm not asking for a commitment. I'm here for you, Aaron. I'm not Haley, but I do care for you." Looking down at me, he sighed and countered,

"But I'm intruding on your privacy."

"You're not intruding at all." I replied, sighing and shaking my head. He smiled down at me, briefly, then he frowned and asked,

"What did I do wrong?" I sighed and sat on the couch, saying,

"Everyone has a breaking point, Aaron...Haley just reached her's." Aaron shook his head and replied,

"I never really loved her." I looked at him wide eyed and countered,

"That's not true. You lov-" He sighed and interrupted me,

"I love you. I always have. You moved away and I 'fell for' Haley. Then, you moved back and I tried to ignore my feelings for you. I settled for the life I had. I-" I began to protest,

"Aaron, stop." He was persistent and continued,

"I've always wanted you. You-" I felt tears fill my eyes and I whispered,

"Stop." Aaron lifted my chin and didn't stop,

"You've always been the most important person to me. I-" Tears ran down my face and I begged,

"Aaron, please." He rubbed away my tears and finished,

"I love you." I sighed and he kissed my forehead, saying,

"I love my son, but...Haley isn't the person I wanted to have a family with."

"Why didn't you tell me this before I left?" I asked, softly, looking up at him and taking a shaky breath.

"I didn't know how." He said, looking away from me and walking to the other side of the room. I frowned and asked, getting upset,

"You didn't know how?!?" I stood up and huffed, continuing,

"How could you not know how?!" He crossed the room, again, and held me, saying,

"I was never good at communicating. I'm still not." I pulled away from his embrace and walked into the kitchen, saying,

"You aren't." Leaning against a counter in my kitchen, I sighed and Aaron sighed, following me. He stood in front of me and I looked away from him, shaking my head. Grabbing my chin, he made me look at him and he whispered,

"Don't do that." I looked at him through my eyelashes and he looked down at me, continuing,

"Don't look at me like you can't stand me."

"I can't stand you." I replied, looking into his eyes and he smirked, saying,

"Then don't stand." Picking me up, he kissed me and placed me onto the counter, putting his hands up my shirt. He caressed my sides and I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, running my fingers through his dark hair. Moving his hands down to my waist, he tugged at he hem of my shirt and kissed down my neck, leaving marks. His phone went off and he pulled away, resting his forehead against my forehead.

"Please don't be a case..." I begged, watching as he checked his phone and frowned, saying,

"We have a case." I whined and pouted, saying,

"But it's our weekend off!" Aaron smiled and kissed me, briefly. He pulled me off the counter and pulled away, saying,

"I wish serial killers would be more respectful of our weekends off too." He held his hand out to me and I grabbed his hand, saying,

"Fine." Smiling, he pulled me into a kiss and placed his hands on my waist, pulling me closer to him. Pulling away, I sighed and said,

"Lets get to Quantico." He nodded and we grabbed our go bags, heading to his car.

Time Skip to the Bureau

Aaron held the door open for me and I walked into the conference room, sitting next to Gideon. Aaron stood behind me and he looked at JJ, saying,

"What do we have?" JJ sighed and said,

"We've got a bad one." JJ presented the case and Aaron grabbed his files, saying,

"Wheels up in 30." I walked into Aaron's office and he sat in his chair, straightening out files. I sat across from him and sighed, saying,

"Are you ready?" He stood up and nodded, saying,

"I needed a second to sit before we headed to the plane." Walking out of his office, he sighed and I followed him. When we got on the elevator, he held my hand and looked down at me, saying,

"I love you, (Y/N)." Looking up at him, I sighed and pulled my hand away from him, staying quiet. He looked hurt, but he just kissed my forehead and commented,

"You can't avoid what I've said forever." I looked away from him and lowered my head, thinking,

'I can try.'
