Chapter 4 – Beware I’m tiny

When I woke up the next morning it was to the sound of the phone ringing. I nearly jumped out of my skin before opening my eyes and groaning, I sat up on the couch. Ashton lay on the other end of the couch his feet dangling off the end near my head, and Colin lay on his stomach the floor without a shirt on.

I sighed before getting off the couch and heading for the kitchen to grab the phone. When I picked it up a familiar voice was on the other end. “Hey, Mom,” I said.

“Hey Hon, I’m just phoning to let you know we’re stopping for lunch then we’ll be home,” she told me.

I glanced at the clock, it was almost noon. “Where are you eating?” I asked her.

“Red Robin,” she told me.

“Okay,” I said. That will give us some time to clean up. “See you later then!”

“Bye,” she said before hanging up. I put the phone down and headed for the living room where the two boys were still passed out.

“Guys wake up!” I said. I walked over and nudged Colin with my foot before grabbing Ashton’s arm and shaking it. “Wake up!”

“Mm,” Ashton mumbled.

“Ashton!” I said in a warning tone. “GET UP!” I screamed.

They both jumped before looking at me with wide eyes. “Calm down!” Colin said getting to his feet. He turned to face Ashton and me, and we both burst out laughing.

He looked down at his stomach before frowning. “What does it say? I can’t read upside down!”

Ashton and I were still laughing our asses off; Ashton was nearly on the floor he was laughing so hard. “Shut up!” Colin yelled punching Ashton on the arm.

“It says Beware I’m Tiny with an arrow pointing down to your crotch,” I said through my laughter.

“Oh my fucking God!” Colin exclaimed. “Fuck, its sharpie!”

“I wonder who wrote it.” Ashton asked out loud.

“It was you, wasn’t it?” Colin deadpanned looking over at Ashton who just smirked and shrugged.

“You really think I remember?”

Colin glared at him. “I’m going to shower! Start cleaning!”

Colin headed for the stairs as Ashton said, “Wow, someone’s PMSing!”

Colin flipped him off and Ashton just laughed to himself. I shook my head trying not to smile at how incredibly inappropriate they both are. “Shall we start cleaning, Pengy?”

“Pengy?” I asked as I started picking up empty cups off the floor. “Is this your genius nickname for me?”

“Yup,” Ashton smirked.

“Are you going to tell me why you’re calling me that?”

“It’s a secret!” he stuck his tongue out at me childishly before running for the kitchen like a gazelle.

I laughed at him and was still laughing when he returned with two garbage bags. He handed me one before winking at me and starting to clean. I shook my head at him before continuing to clean.

By the time Colin made it back downstairs we had cleaned mostly everything. “Guys it’s not coming off,” he panicked. Sure enough there was still writing on his stomach only it was a little lighter now.

“I guess next time you won’t leave the sharpies out,” I told him.

“Ha ha, you’re so funny,” he said glaring at me. I grinned wickedly back.
