"I miss you already." Zayn said as I held my phone with one hand and unlocked my door with the other. It had only been two weeks since I landed back home. I hated to admit I missed him too.

I finally got the door open and kicked my shoes off immediately.

"It's only been a couple weeks. You're coming next week though, right?" I asked as I threw my keys on the coffee table and dropped my purse on the couch as I made my way in to the kitchen. I had worked all day and skipped lunch. I was absolutely starving.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe." Zayn teased. He couldn't see me but I was rolling my eyes so hard at him.

"Well, I guess I could just hang up now then." I shot back. Zayn immediately apologized and informed me he had already bought his plane ticket for the following week. We talked for a little while longer before hanging up. He headed to bed while I scrounged around in my kitchen for something to eat.

I opened the fridge and closed it. I had already opened and closed the fridge like three times. I was about to raid my cabinets again when my phone vibrated on the counter. I looked at it for a moment before walking over to check it.

1 New Message : Harry

I've just landed. I'll see you soon.xx

I read the message multiple times before putting my phone down and leaning against the counter. I sighed before resting my head in my hands. The guilt was back twisting in my stomach. My anxiety was through the roof. Harry would be here in twenty minutes give or take a few minutes depending on traffic. I hadn't laid eyes on him since the day he had come to my apartment to tell me he had chosen Lilah. So, why was I so nervous to see him again. I was the one who had turned him away. He had broken me that day but I was moving on. I was more than happy with Zayn. Yet, here I was still keeping Harry coming here a secret.

I was a terrible girlfriend.

I hadn't realized I had stood for an entire twenty minutes beating myself up when a loud knock sounded on the door. I popped my head up and looked at the time. It really had been twenty minutes of me standing here thinking about what a bad girlfriend I was being. I sighed and went to answer the door.

When I opened the door I was surprised at what I saw. Harry stood in front of me but not the Harry I was accustomed to seeing. He looked exhausted. There were dark circles under his eyes, a couple days worth of stubble on his chin, and he looked like he could use a shower. I was caught off guard by his appearance. I had never seen him look so dull. When he stepped into a room he was usually the brightest thing there.

"Hey, come on in." I said as I stepped back. I watched as his eyes roamed over me as he stepped inside the apartment. I shut the door and stepped around him to motion for him to follow me to the kitchen. Maybe this time I would actually find something to eat this time around.

"So, what is it? What is so important that you had to come allllll the way to me, in person ." I said as I rummaged around to make myself a grilled cheese. Harry's eyes turned a little guarded as he watched me get the items I needed to cook.

"I just, I don't know. I felt I like I needed to see you and talk to you in person. Texts and calls don't feel the same." he said as he tugged at his bottom lip. He pulled up one of the barstools to the counter as I began buttering my bread to put in my pan.

"Well, things can be taken the wrong way over texts but calls aren't so bad. Does Lilah know you're here?" I asked. I kept my eyes averted. I didn't ask to be a bitch or throw barbs. I honestly wanted to know if she knew he was half way across the world to see another girl.
