Second period went by and it was finally break. I started walked to my locker to get my lunch when someone came crashing into my body.

"Hey, sorry! I didn't know if you saw me or not" Mackenzie smiled at me, a bit too enthusiastically.

"Is this how you greet all your friends?" I laughed, rubbing my shoulder from where the most impact effected me.

"Skye Abelló is actually considering me as a FRIEND?" Mackenzie looked around the hallway with a shocked face.

"Ha ha, very funny" I smirked at her.

"Omg! SKYE ABELLÓ IS ACTUALLY TALKING TO ME!"

"Alright, alright, you've had your fun" I shoved my books into my locker and grabbed some money from my purse.

And may I add, my purse is not a brown leather one that is said to be 'unisex'

Mackenzie began, "Your spending break with me, no objections"

Next thing I know, my arm was in hers and we walked down the hallway together, I was feeling as confident as ever having her by my side.

As we queued for some food, Mackenzie was scanning the cafeteria with camera-like eyes.

"Who you looking for?"

"Our group. They must be outside today"

"What would you like?" A old looking woman spoke to me, her face droopy and her tome of voice sounding tired, as if she's done this done for over 10 years.

I couldn't blame her though, it was Monday morning.

My eyes were now focussing on the BBQ chicken wings that sat on the side in a small pot.

"I'll have the BBQ chicken wings" I replied, taking the wings from her hand. "Thank you"

"So what's the group like?" I asked Mackenzie, wanting to prepare myself for the worst.

"They're good people. I told them about you already, so no surprises to deal with" she laughed

"That also reminds me"

I looked up at her with confusion.

"I need to tell you about the school"

My eyebrows knitted together "Mackenzie, I've already had a tour, and I was researching all the background info-" I was cut off at that.

"No you idiot! I mean the groups!"

"Oh" I simply replied.

"You see the girls sitting under the stairs over there?" Mackenzie pointed to the stairs that were placed in the left corner of the cafeteria. "Yeh, they're the gamers. Pokémon Go is like the new thing lately, you'll see a lot of them walking around to God knows where!"

I knew the feeling...

The queue started to get shorter and we were moving at a faster pace. "That big table over there filled with all those girls and boys, are the Chocks"
