"I'm not going!"

"Common Skye! You look hot!"

"No! I'm not going like this!" I said while stomping my feet. No way was I going to go to a party dressed like this. When we bought the outfit, I never tried it on because we had no time, and I didn't feel like stripping into several costumes until I found the perfect fit; So Mackenzie just grabbed what she thought was my size and we bought it...Little did we know, it was a size too small.

Do you know what that means?

"I know it's a size too small, but it makes your boobs and bum look so good!" She wailed with excitement.

That's right. This so called 'outfit' was not only too tight, but it made my boobs and bum show. I was taking slutty Halloween to a new level.

"You can't make me!" I wailed, folding my arms over my chest.

"What will it take for to you accept it?" Mackenzie sighed.

Walking towards the mirror, I sigh to myself. Would I have to go to the party looking like a complete whore? I could already imagine the kind of looks I would get as I walk through the door. I didn't like the thought of girls slagging me off, and guys thinking i was an easy target.

I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and stared at my refection. I wore a white body suit which revealed a lot of leg, and most importantly, a lot of bum. However, my skin wasn't shown too much as I was wearing white socks which finished at my thighs. A plain white tutu hung onto my hips and covered what looked like only an inch of the body suit. Looking from the side on, I analysed the wings which were attached to my shoulders. They weren't tacky at all, and looked perfect, maybe the costume wasn't that bad after all.

My luscious brown hair fell in small waves either side of my head. Coming back into reality, I turn to Mackenzie with a grin on my face.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Mackenzie cocked her head.

Smiling wider, "I like it"

Mackenzie's mouth opened into an 'o' shape, "Y-you like it?!" A smile began to appear on her face too.

Shrugging, "it's not all that bad" I gave her a cute smile.

Jumping into the air, "YES!" I watched Mackenzie land, not as swiftly as she could have been. "Now all we need is heels" She gave me a wink.

"Heels? What! No, we never agreed on this!"

I watched as Mackenzie began rummaging through the drawers, "How can we not go to a party in heels? It's fine, I'll find you some cute white ones"

"Please remind me why I'm friends with you?"

Jakob's house came into view and from the distance we were at, the party looked alive already.

"You don't think we're too early?" Mackenzie turned to me, we were sitting in the back seat of a cab. This meant that we both could drink and that we wouldn't need to leave one of our cars here.

"Nah, we're an hour late, that's fine" I nodded at her, "That's the sort of time I would arrive at house parties back in my old school" I encouraged her.

House parties back in my old school. They were pretty good, I remember them vividly...especially the last one I went to.

I swallowed hard, my body turned into instant ice, and I felt goosebumps rise onto my skin. Was it too late to turn back? What if he turned up to the party?

Shaking my head, no. That would never happen. No one from Seal Bay would come to an Oaks party. Right?

"Hey Mackenzie, are people from Spring Oaks only invited?"

"I think so, probably a few outsiders will turn up, but nothing to worry about. I mean, it's not like anyone from Seal Bay will come. That would be like a death wish"

But how could anyone be so sure that they wouldn't turn up? I've seen gangs from Seal Bay, and nothing would stop them.

Mackenzie continued, "Plus, even if a few Seal Bay guys crashed, they wouldn't stand a chance against Braxton, Chase and Jakob"

Looking up at her with confusion, "You're telling me, that three boys could take on a gang of guys from Seal Bay?" The thought of it made me laugh inside.

"You've seen Braxton fight Skye. You tell me"

I thought back to the time when I first met Braxton; I remember it clearly, even though it wasn't that long ago. That was not only the day I first met him, but also the day when I found out about his mom which I had completely forgotten about.

"Yeh, but Chase? And Jakob?" I tried to argue.

"Don't you remember the soccer fight Chase and Braxton were in?"

"I guess your right..." I trailed off. But that still didn't mean Jakob could fight. Jakob was like a cute bear, he wasn't the type to get psychical...With anyone for that matter.

Mackenzie nudged my shoulder, "Plus, I guarantee the jocks wouldn't mind jumping in, and possibly other drunk guys. Don't worry about it" She gave me a reassuring smile.

Could she tell I was scared? "I'm not scared or anything, I just didn't really think of Braxton Chase and especially Jakob to be fighter guys" technically I was telling the truth, but I was scared also about him turning up.

"Maybe you just don't know them well enough" Mackenzie said naturally.

Was she was right? Maybe I didn't know them as well as I thought I did.

"I mean, I bet you can't even tell me one of Braxton's hobbies" She pushed for an answer.

Pausing for a second, "Okay, you're right, Maybe I don't know the boys well enough. But tonight that's going to change"

Tonight I was going to get to know them better.

Starting with Braxton.
