"So what you wanna do today?" Carter flopped onto my bed, causing me to bounce at the impact.

Slapping my hands down on the duvet, "We could get Starbucks?" I shrugged my shoulders.

Carter turned to me, his face scrunched up in disgust. "Oh my god! Lets go to Starbucks because we're such white girls!" He mocked in a high pitch girly voice with his hands fluttering around.

Crossing my arms over my chest, "Fine then, you think of something better!"

Carter inched closer to me, "We could talk..."

I didn't like where this was going.

He continued, "It's been your first week at your new school, tell me about it" He gave me a wink, and I was more than confused as to what he was indicating.

Slightly scared, "My first week at school was okay..."

"Nice" Carter smirked at me again.

"Is there something you want to tell me?" I raised en eyebrow at him.

Running a hand through his hair, "Well...There's this girl"

Slapping a hand over my mouth, "WHAT!" I scream in excitement.

Carter began laughing, clutching hard into his stomach, "I'm kidding, you know I ain't like that, even though all the girls love me" He finished with a wink which made me roll my eyes.

He lifted up his top to reveal his defined 6 pack, "Everyone loves this"

"Wow, I bet you even fart glitter" We both burst into a fit of laughs, making me find it hard to breathe.

"Seriously, what did you want to talk about?" I questioned.

"Why were you upset today princess?" He rested a hand in his chin.

"I wasn't upset" I tried to brush it off and I think Carter got to message and quickly changed subject.

"Wanna watch a movie?"

"What movie?"

"How about The Shining?" He came close to me, his voice sounding ghoulish and his fingers waving in a spooky manner.

"I hate horrors, you know that" I hugged my knees, bringing them close to my chest.

"I don't care, we're watching it" He crossed his arms over his chest. Continuing, "And you can't close your eyes once"

Glancing at my phone, it read 6:50. Yawning as the credits rolled on the TV, I sat up and gave Carter a nudge.

"I'm awake! I'm awake!" He shot up immediately, his eyes half closed. "What time is it?" He began rubbing his eyes before peeling away his hand and his eyes fluttered open.

Turning off the TV with the remote, "6:50, we've watched 4 movies and you fell asleep halfway through the 2nd one"

"That's because The Notebook was boring me, did they even get back together in the end?"
