"That-that was there?" Carter spat out the words, struggling to find them.

"Yes" I looked down at the floor.

"Then why did you-"

Alex interjected, "She didn't know, she didn't know that was the place until she saw him"

We all remained silent for a while, before I decided to make a move and leave.

"I'm gonna head to bed now" I stuffed my hands into my pockets before hurriedly leaving the room.

I climbed into bed, wearing a baggy top and turned off my side lamp. Resting my head on the pillow I closed my eyes and let my thoughts take over.

Why was Antonio there?

Did he know I was going to be there?

It was hard to process everything, I replayed the scene over and over again in my mind trying to understand what actually happened.

My thoughts had passed as a heavy weight fell onto my bed beside me. Turning my head, I see Carter smuggling up in my covers, looking at me with kind green eyes.

"I'm sleeping over" He smiled goofily at me while taking off his shirt.

Rolling my eyes, "Great"

"Cheer up princess"

Turning over so my back faced Carter, "How can I after today?"

I heard him sigh, "So that was the place it happened?"

I nodded in reply, now turning my body to face Carter.

"I'm so sorry" He spoke with such guilt and sympathy present in his voice.

"Don't be Carter!" I tried to say convincingly as he probably is blaming himself for tonight, although none of it was his fault.

"Okay" He agreed which makes me feel better.

I turned over again, both my hands resting on my cheek and my knees up to my chest.

After a short few minutes, Carter spoke out curiously. "Why was he there? That's what I don't understand"

I thought about it for a while too, and I didn't have the answer either. Unless...

"What if he was there with the boys? What if he was doing the same thing as Braxton, Chase and Jakob were doing?"

Carter replied almost instantly,
"But what were they doing?"

Monday came pretty quick. I was on my way to music class, when I felt a vibration in my back pocket.

Answering the phone, "What's up Carter?"

"Hey princess, just checking up on you"

Rolling my eyes, "You don't need to call me every five minutes"

"I just want to see if you're okay"

I continued to walk down the hallway, "I know, but you don't need to"

I heard Carter sigh on the other end of the phone, "I'm sorry, I just worry about you"
