My stomach knotted and I instantly teared my eyes away from his and looked at the ground.
"What are you hiding Skye?" Braxton's hands gripped around my waist tightly which caused my breathing to hitch. What was happening to me?
My eyes looked up again and gazed into his kind blue ones. His face was soft and it was a look I wasn't used to. Why did he always have to be angry? I preferred this look to his usual angry one, it was more welcoming and made me feel more comfortable around him.
I couldn't help but think how hot he looked right now, who am I kidding, he always looks hot. Even when he's angry. Our bodies were so close and the scary part was how closer our faces were. I could feel his warm breath hit my face.
I was utterly speechless, a part of me wanted to pour out every secret I had and admit it all to Braxton. A part of me felt like I could trust him with my life, and I could trust him with everything.
"Skye" He breathed, which sent shivers down my spin.
Just as I was about to speak, Braxton pulled back immediately, slamming his body into the wall opposite.
"There you are" My head spun to meet Chase standing in the entrance casually. "What were you-"
"I was asking Skye about the music homework" Braxton cut him off quickly, but his voice didn't give away anything.
"Yeh" I agreed. What was wrong with me? Why was I always getting myself in these situations? And let's not mention Braxton's reflexes...wow.
"Oh right" Chase said confusingly while leaning against the wall.
"I'm gonna-" I started to say, while walking towards the entrance again and into the hideout, to find Jakob tied up to a chair and Mackenzie pacing around him.
I stood still in the middle of the room, and I could feel a presence behind me, whether it was Chase or Braxton, I wasn't too sure.
"Have I interrupted a Fifty Shades of Grey scene?"
"It's not what it looks like!" Mackenzie yelled in embarrassment.
Jakob had a scared looked on his face which matched mine.
What sort of friends did I have?

"Someone please give me a ride home? I'm begging!"
"Sorry bambina" Jakob was first to speak and he had an apologetic tone to his voice, "I haven't got that much gas left, I'll only just make it home"
Spinning to Mackenzie with puppy eyes, "Mack?"
She shook her head in reply, "I'm going to my grandmas"
"Who goes to their grandmas on a Monday, isn't that like a weekend thing!" I wail, I needed a ride home.
"My parents are going out tonight for their anniversary" She rolled her eyes at the thought.
"Why don't you have you're car?" Jakob added in.
Crossing my arms, "Well stupid gave Carter my spare car keys" I sighed before starting again, "And he and some mates drove all the way here so Carter could drive my car"
